Dunno if this can be made here in movies or should be in Gen Discussion but whatever! He just had his kid today naming him, Kal-El Coppola Cage. Prolly the closest he'll ever be to being related to something to do with Superman eh?

What's up Ghost!

Man, Nic Cage is definetely "out there"!

But then again, it could always be worse! Hollywood couples naming their kids "Apple" and so on.

And these poor kids have no say in the matter, they just have to go through life with these stupid names.

I actually like the name Kalel. In hebrew it means "all that is God" Kinda different but certainly not terrible like Moon Unit or Dweezil or Apple or countless others.

Well, I have two different clients that should have taken more time to pick out names.

The first named their kid LIVINGSTON. Why don't they just start beating him up now, so he'll be used to it when he starts school?

The other kids name has 27 letters in it. That's more letters than there is in the alphabet.

it might mean that but I know that's not why he named his son that...that guy is a fanboy gone nuts...

"I'm a huge fan of Elvis...hmm, I'm gonna marry his daughter"..the guy is just out there!!.......I still can't believe he sold his Action Comics #1..it's not like he needed the money?!?

A funny TV name from Arrested Development: Bob Loblaw.

The way they use that name in the show is hilarious!

I like him as an actor but he seems like kind of a freak in RL. He should really stop doing his own stunts.

Yep, you are correct about that. Actually, I named one of our two golden retrievers "Kal-El." The other's name is "Buster." :)

Naming your pets after superheroes or characters is cool, but you shouldn't do that to a baby.

I had a dog named "Sprite" back in 1982-1995 after Kitty Pryde. No pets now but my plan is to eventually get a Rottweiller or Malamute and name him, "THOR" or "Aragorn."
