What's that? Oh, that's just the sound of my wallet opening.

She looks incredible and I know that if I pick her up I'm going to by tempted by Sylvanas too, and then it's just a short jaunt down the road to Illidan. I've resisted these Warcraft statues for a while but I feel myself breaking lol.

Anyways, I'm quite curious as to whether or not they might revisit Arthas down the road since they handle their own statue lines now. I'd love another shot to pick him up since I missed him.

Heh nice. I never played WoW myself but am quite into Blizzard characters - played lots of Warcraft 1-3, Starcraft, Hearthstone, Diablo etc.
I have Grommash and Illidan and both amazing statues. I'll be getting Sylvanas next, and I guess Jaina sometime in the future.

I think they will redo Arthas. The last one was a long time ago and made by Sideshow. Arthas is one of if not their most popular character, they'd be silly not to do an even more amazing statue in-house.

I guess the Overwatch stuff will have to wait? :thinking:

That's what I'm waiting for. Sideshow's wasn't completely there for me. The base was too wide and repeditive, the paint job was sub-par, no interchangeable Arthas head and I hate light-ups.

Jaina looks quite nice. Non Warcraft fans might even pick her up because it's a woman with a pretty face.

The life size is the best of that league
, but the collectible in my eyes is the best as well, grom looks great with the base but this Jaina has a killer outfit, tons of details

Don't know if Blizzard doesn't limit the edition sizes or what but if it's like Sylvanas I doubt anyone will have trouble getting one. That released a year ago and is still up for order in their store.

I tend to collect female characters - I've got Kerrigan, Sylvanas, and will have Jaina from Blizzard. About the only additional characters I'd want to see that we haven't yet would be Nova, Tyrande, and maybe a pre-infestation Kerrigan.

I have to say though that for the size, Blizzard delivers a lot for the money with their statues. Compared to Sideshow or Prime1 they are close to half the price.

I love both factions but tend to love Ally zones more. Definitely not freaking out over which side is best. I'm in love with Blizz's worlds and games since W2 times. Would like to get a proper male version of Diablo...speaking of the devil. What were they thinking announcing D: Immortal as THE diablo game, on it's own, to a PC crowd. Mind boggles...

What a shockThere are opposing factions in just about every story ever told. I never said or implied that loyalty to one over the other was surprising. My point was, well, specifically as I said - those who are blindly loyal to one side and take it so seriously to the point of being noticeably upset or angered by the actions of the opposing faction, are weirdos. And I see a lot of weirdos that do that.

I hear ya. I was able to order it 1am PST last night. Only knew about it because of this forum. I check both sites daily but the gear store doesn't always have stuff up in the am and pop up later in the day. I've been saying for a couple years now that they need to have a news letter. When mentioned it to them on blizzard forums, BlizzCon and submitting tickets.

This print came out on the 11th late in the afternoon. I happened to catch MechWestern’s post and grabbed one. I’d just check in every month. I’ll keep my eyes open and relay info if someone else doesn’t. I couldn’t miss this one with the upcoming statue. Hopefully we’ll get a Lich King print one of these months.

No this one popped up on the 11th some time after 10am PST. It was sold out by yesturday morning. Less then 24hours.

These are specifically limited to a 150 pieces. And they have all shipped out of the warehouse. I would think only if a return happened would one pop back up, or if they sold less than 150 Incase of needing to hold a few back for exchanges and if there is no need to exchange then they would probably be available later

The whole way they are going about selling these prints is not fan friendly. No release dates, randomly announced and put up for sale, SUPER low es, not actually knowing what's going to be coming out, and now supposedly letting people buy multiples.

This literally makes only the people who are willing to constantly check the blizz gear store come Feb able to purchase.

That's because the gear store is in its own little bubble from the rest of Blizzard. There's not many people who work in that department. I recommended a newsletter over 2 years ago to the people who was running the merch booth at Comic-Con. Its dumb that we have to do this but I'd recommend blasting them on Facebook and Twitter to get the point across. I'm not sure if anyone who makes those decisions even look at this forum...

What's lame is Blizzard does have a news email they send out but it's typically about game events such as OW year of the Pig, Diablo season 16, Wow Dazarolar now up. One email only about gear store January sale with one weeks left. They are all in my promotions tab on Gmail. Nothing about the art print. Looks like they have the email set up. Now only if they could use it effectively...

As far as statues are concerned, Blizzard is a headache with companies so maybe they are the same with themselves. Michael Turner and I were going to get a statue license with them back in the day and passed on it due to what we felt would have been a huge headache. Then, talking with Mat Falls, one of the Sideshow partners, when they started with the license they were having approval headaches as well.

I didn't think the statues ever went on sale.

Shame they didn't work on the portrait i really want this statue. Also what is up with the q3? Normally they have stock ready to ship at least with the other statues they did.

Ill wait till a black friday sale and hope they improve the face. I can't get past how horrible that face is front on. Side on it looks better. It's not only the eyes those eyebrows are horrible.

Hm... when comparing her face with the Statue which was displayed at the BlizzCon 2018 it looks like they changed here mouth and here eyes, maybe also her eyebrowns? the mouth has a different shape, and also her eyes have a different shape , at least i think so, or does it looks different because of the camera angle which isnt excatly the same...?

Her jaw is very square and chiseled (makes her look like a dude), she needs a softer face and her eyes are too narrow and high - as someone pointed out Asian eyes

As reddit pointed out - even fixing her eyes and would do wonders - but she really needs a softer jaw as well. I prefer the Blizzcon version by far.

They fixed her face after the first batch was shipped out. So there is still hope they will fix it.

It was after the release, and maybe took half a year or a year to re-release Tracer. She was Blizzards first statue, so I'm sure they didn't want to F it up. Who knows if they'd do it again given how little effort Bliz seems put into releasing Jaina. Sigh...

Ya so this is the before/ after. So the problem was something that happened in the factory production. I do t know how many were affected, but it was never meant or even sculpted the ugly way. Blizzard did fix the problem and had normal statues from then on.

For Jaina though, this is the sculpted and what the sculpter intended, even though it's ugly. I wonder if they will fix it due to feedback, I hope but wonder even if they have heard the dislike for the face. I dont know much about production of statues like this and time frame, but it seems good that we still have some time before shipping and they might still fix it? But that would mean a new head sculpt and everything, this isn't just a factory error.

Windseeker can be messaged on Facebook/email for parts/returns. The little chain on my Jaina doesn't sit properly. I contacted them and they sent me a replacement. I didn't even buy it from them.

FNCstore has their return policy clearly listed on the front page of their site.

Gameharbors just did a site revamp, it's not listed atm but there was a return policy listed on the old site. You can easily message them on Facebook or by email.

Toy Okoku will list on the item page if the item is non-refundable usually the more fragile ones so it's up to you to take that chance.

I will point out that’s for the Alin Lich King. That product is made to order. The PO ended two weeks ago and there are no replacement parts. I fully understand why you need to roll the bones on that piece at least they’re honest about it so buyers can decide before POing.

Regardless these pieces are stunning are they as good in person as they are in pictures? That lich king would go great with the cook and becker lich king print.

The other links have some sort of refund/replacement feature either on the site or just by messaging them through social media/email. Gameharbors does allow you to choose your shipping options. I put a note in all my preorders to ship via EMS or DHL usually those are insured with tracking. That's the crux of a few of these companies. (Windseeker) They don't use a classic SS or P1 warehouse or even a standard site like we're used to but ship directly so people like me who don't care for social media have to jump through hoops trying to keep up. In turn it can turn off non Asia territories from taking a dive and importing which is your concern when it comes to damages and replacement. There is nothing to debate about that Lich King. It is nice but you are right to :thinking: with no replacement pieces and a limited run.

I will say this though, I purchased my HMO Mega Man X through Okoku before I ever knew about Spec Fiction Shop. The brown shipper went through the ringer because of transit but everything came perfect. HMO protected it properly using the black foam and velcro straps like XM does. So that might have something to do with it. ;)

buying customes, brings always a risk. But many companies trying to sort things out.
For example, some will give you a refund to have the item repaired locally, others will send replacements.

Im my case with Jaina, I got an overcharge on customs for $65 because of their mistake. I showed them the invoice and they offered me a refund.

Of course there are also companies which doesnt care and wont do anything, but these typicall dont survive long.

I'm curious, how much was shipping for the Windseeker statue? Their 2B statue looks pretty neat and they've teased a Yrel piece that looks like it might be nice, but I'm kinda scared that if I place an order they'll come back down the road with a scary shipping price.

For collectors in Europe such shipping costs are more or less normal, specially because everything will be shipped from outside Europe.

The shipping costs for Jaina and price, need to be looked different in my opinion. We are talking here about two statues in two different boxes. Water Element one Box, Jaina one box. As far as I know, there was option to buy only Jaina.

Mine (both boxes) were shipped from China to the US for $150 through an eBay contact. It came within 5-10 days and included tracking/insurance. I wouldn't say $150 is cheap but much more affordable then $300. I just find it odd WS would ship these items for $150 more from the same location in China to another fellow eastern seaboarder in the US.

Now that Gameharbors will sell WS statues I really want to know what they're EMS & DHL costs are going to be. I won't know till they ship the first piece but will report back.
