We brought you news on The Flash coming to DVD just over 2 months ago. At the time we didn't know when it would be released, just that Warner Bros was working on the set. Well, here's the news you've been waiting for (and we've been waiting to bring you):

Warner Bros Home Video will release the entire series on January 10, 2006.

The 6 disc set will include all 22 episodes of the series, including the 90 minute pilot movie that kicked it all off. The suggested retail price is $59.98. Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be any extras on the set. The announcement of this release should excite fans that were teased with the bonus episode included with Smallville Season 4 as a promotion for Warner Brothers Television 50th anniversary.

This was a sleeper with comic fans. The flash costume ruled and hell, I'd watch Amanda Pays sell plastic jewelry on QVC for 6 hours!

It was also the ONLY hour long show in Television history that started on the 1/2 hour! They purposely killed this show because it was so expensive to make at the time.

I agree, I really enjoyed watching this show back then. And I do remember Hamill playing the Trickster. Funny though that after he ran alot he had to eat tons to bulk up his metabolism. I'll have to pick this up.

Definately buying this! I still remember Mark Hammil as the Trickster. This was before he brought the Joker to life in BTAS, and I just remember thinking what a great villian he was when that Flash episode aired. Now, having said that, he may do an AWESOME Joker voice, but he could never pull off playing the Joker in a live action setting as has been mentioned on other boards, IMO. He is WAAAYYYY to short, old and wrinkly too (At this point in his career) to play Mr. J....... :inquisiti

Me too! I loved that show. It was a shame it cost so much to make.
