I got a message at the beginning of May to say it should be coupled in a month or two but haven't had any info recently.

Ken! Yeah, it makes me feel a bit better knowing Alex got a top notch Death commission. Cliff "seemed" bothered that I wasn't able to get a sketch after he found out I was picking up Alex's. He basically told me that if he comes to KC or I make it back to Heroes next year he would "work things out with me." I am not going to take that to the bank, but the the thought was appreciated. Yeah, I am very pleased with Matteo's UJ. If anybody is interested I think I am going to try to head something up with him towards the end of the year. He said his schedule won't allow for at home commissions until after October/November. He told me he puts a lot more detail in his at home commissions. So I will spread the word if I am able to put something together.

Cliff's a good guy, just to give you a quick story, at NYCC 2010, Alex was unable to get a piece from him (myself and another Aussie Scott were lucky enough to get on his list). So he certainly came through for us, I'm sure he'll do the same for you. Mind you, we did bribe him with Boost bars at the con! That, and I played the Asian card!

I told the pizza guy to stop bringing me free pizzas, and now he's bringing me free ginormous salads, with all the (healthy) fixings.. delicious.

My heart took a sh!t on me last time I went surfing, and I'm not sure what that is since my family doesn't have a history of heart attacks/heart disease, so I'm off any greasy foods.. and have lost 15 pounds in the last two months because of it (and because of my divorce, probably). :laugh:

I chatted with Chris a little while back about his current commission rates for another fan and this is what he e-mailed back:

"My single character 11 by 17 greyscale pieces are $400. $200 for each additional character.

I do 11 by 14 busts for $200 as well. I'm currently working on a wait list. No money up front to get on the list, but a 50% deposit when I'm ready to start on your piece. I guess that about covers it."

It appears that he has a lengthy (not surprisingly) commission list but has been doing occasional commissions. Hope that helped Best,

Hotel's full... people from Germany, France, Sweden, etc.. all here for more bike races, like AmGen (with Armstrong) that just blew through. I just checked in three Swedish chicks that I'm re-opening the spa for; crazy Swedes. :laugh:

I've had an Ipod Touch for years, but I'm an Android/PC man... looking into gettin' an actual Apple computer is somewhat exciting; I'm way behind on the curve on that, but I just usually use the Apples at Radio Magic or Voice-One (free plugs). :laugh:

She's rich, and she's keeping $60,000.00 of mine in house payments I think I may write a "tell-all" about her family, who's well-known and well-respected her in California (Jim and Joan Sargen).

Crackin' a brew with some buds tonight, though, out of celebration that this bullsh!t's almost over; their wives and my females friends are just as glad to see Cyn go, finally. :laugh: Some great times were had in the nine years I knew her, but.. yeah.. I could do without the rest. :D

I noticed it was later next year. I have already told my wife I am going. I might not have any money for art, but as long as I can save up enough for flight and hotel I am going. It was so much fun being able to chat with the likes of Ryan Sook, Cliff Chiang and Scott Kollins for quite a while without having a huge crowd to deal with. I was also surprised with the amount of cheap tpb, hc and individual issue comics. The dealers cut prices even further on Saturday. Makes me wish we stayed until Sunday, I could have gotten more!! :rant: :rolleyes2

I know everyone makes a blue every once in a while but there gets a point where enough is enough for sure!
