Hi guys can you help me about wolverine on skulls statue.I want some pictures of this statue.I will make an international order so i wanna see some real pics of this item. Please show me some real pics and i need your advise because this forum is the best :buttrock: .Thanks..
I just got this statue last week and I'm pretty impressed with it, especially considering I got it for about $55 shipped. The paint job is a little glossy, but nowhere near as bad as some pics make it look.
Coincidentally, I was taking some pics this weekend and this happened to be one of the statues I photographed...I took 'em without a flash, but they're still just a little glossier-looking than the actual statue. Anyway, I'd definitely recommend this statue. It's really nice - my one complaint is that Diamond didn't let the sculptor (whose name escapes me at the moment) use his unmasked Wolvie head sculpt. For whatever reason, they went with the masked version, which doesn't match the cover. :inquisiti I saw pics of the unmasked head sculpt, and it was really good.... Still a nice piece though.
And the scale matches my DF Avengers & Adversaries Iron Man statue, so they look pretty good together. Nice bonus :)
To save bandwidth I'll post all but one as thumbnails...just click 'em to see the larger versions.

Yeah!! this is a good medium statue but you can improve it with matt varnish and silver paint for claws.

So do you think Diamond Select did a good job on the claws? I know in another thread they were discussing how many companies have made Wolverine's claws too thick and such.
I really like the claws on this statue, actually. They're very sturdy and not too thick, not too thin. Shaped just right and slightly curved (I hate when artists give Wolvie those steak-knife looking straight claws). I was doubly impressed by the sturdiness of his claws considering that I tried to buy the Sideshow Wolvie vs. Sabretooth statue twice, and both times Wolvie's claws were damaged when the piece arrived. :rolleyes2 No such bad luck with this one. I did have to snip a bit of metal wire off the tip of one claw, but no biggie.
That silver paint for the claws does look nice...I think I might paint mine up. :)

I have to say when I saw the first pics, I was sorry I had ordered it. It doesn't look quite as glossy in person, and is a really nice sculpt.
