Sorry to trouble you all and I am sure there was a thread on this before, but how tall is the upcoming Namor statue? Looks to be priced less than the new HH piece, but I like Seth's work and the 1/6 HH scale.

Thanks!

George

The Diamond Namor is a 1/6th scale statue. His wide stance makes it 11.5 tall to the top of his head.
I hope this helps.

Is this statue any relation to the Bowen Namor? Same pose, did Diamond just beat Bowen to the punch?

Have you seen the unpainted version. Its the paintwork that has let this sculpt down. The sculpt is fine.

you hit that right on the head. the unpainted of this is awesome to see. the paints had to much shading to me to do it justice.

Both based on the same cover image (Sub-Mariner #1, May 1968).

Based on sculpting and production lead time (and the fact that Bowen posted unpainted prototype pix around the same time as DST previewed the "not-yet-approved-by-Marvel" painted prototype at San Diego), this was probably just a coincidence.

This is just such a classic, definitive image of Namor. The only real question is why neither of them jumped on it sooner.
