From Action-Figure.com -

It looks like Toy Biz is not keeping anything secret for ToyFair this year as their latest Information Packet sent to retailers lists the line ups for ML 14 & 15...

Action-Figure has learned that a number of retailers have been sent the Toy Biz Worldwide Limited 2006 Spring & Fall Product Information packet (dated 10/31/2005).

In it it lists the following

Marvel Legends 14 (Estimated Arrival: Aug 06)

1st Appearance Iron Man

Longshot

Baron Zemo

Luke Cage

Falcon

Psylocke

Classic Falcon (Variant)

Unmasked Baron Zemo (Variant)

Gold Iron Man (Variant)

Marvel Legends 15 (Estimated Arrival: Nov 06)

Mandarin

Beta Ray Bill

Moon Knight

Spider-Woman

Quicksilver

Thor-Buster Iron Man

Wasp

Captain Marvel

Spider-Woman (Variant)

Wasp (Variant)

Quicksilver (Variant)

Captain Marvel (Variant)

Now note that ToyBiz is notorious for changing their line ups, so it's quite possible that we'll see some changes by the time we get to the US ToyFair next year.

But, these line ups are circulating right now, and we can confirm that the information has come from ToyBiz and isn't just some baseless rumor.

Ditto. I love the line but the variants kill me with all the other items I collect. Everybody seems to be on a variant kick lately.
Here's my first public announcment that I am quitting Marvel Legends. I am am putting my whole line on ebay by thanksgiving. I have busted my a$$ to get all the variants and with the new lines having up to four chase figures it is not worth it, it has warn me out. I love the line but I just can't keep going with it.

i'm very happy with the idea of Mojo as a BAF sure he doesn't sound right when you think of giants like Galactus or a Sentienl but Mojo is much taller then an average character and MUCH wider then everybody...plus he's been on my ML want list for a long time now :)

see Wolvie is the size of his arm, granted wolvie is a midget, but Mojo is still way to big for a normal figure

mojo sounds like an excellent choice as a build up. never thought of him to be one. i thought more of a figure =/ .

but the build up sounds pretty choice. Zorr or the Shadow King or that monster from the first fantastic four issue would be sweet too...maybe he's tooo big i guess. i dont know about modokthough....he seems too small to be a build up.

mojo is a lot more grande. plus, if Longshot is made, you've got to have mojo, baby =)

rychehitman
12-11-2005, 10:50 PM
AVENGERS QUINJET should be the next buildable large scale piece!

How GREAT would that be!

Mister Operator
12-12-2005, 05:38 AM
Oh man the quinjet actually sounds pretty choice. maybe even a big ol Giant Man! The packages would have to be pretty fat for the quinjet though ha...to get a pretty good size of it. Whoever or whatever they decide to build, surely it can't be upsetting. I'm still happy with the possibility oh the Mojo build up though haha.

Does anyone know if series 14 and 15 are the last lines of the Legends? I remember reading that somewhere a while back. Ah well. Hope not.

rychehitman
12-12-2005, 01:19 PM

Mister Operator
12-13-2005, 01:26 AM
woah well i'm just a fan of most marvel characters i guess. maybe mojo isnt good enough to be a build-up though. if every series had one, then yea i wouldnt mind him. i'd rather have others be made first like a friggin Giant-Man pleeeease.

i can't say anything about the variants until i see pics of them. lookin forward to Falcon and Wasp though!

rychehitman
12-13-2005, 01:32 AM
I just dont see Mojo as being a LARGE scale character....he has mostly been depicted as being in scale with normal humans. He has occassionally appeared larger, but his first appearances were all normal sized...besides its MOJO! = P

Its a shame that in comparison Galactus now appears so SMALL next to Sentinel and Apocalypse.

Batwing
12-13-2005, 03:46 AM
A friggin TALL Goliath with an accurate costume would be a nice character to go with next, after Apocalypse.

Mister Operator
12-16-2005, 05:45 AM
ok ok so we dont want mojo? haha yea i'd really love a Giant Man.

yea galactus is a shorty alright. but i think his accuracy makes up for it.

um who are some other possible LEGENDS of being the next build-up? the Shadow King????

speak for yourself, Mojo has been on my ML wishlist for a long time now, i think him as a BaF would be very cool, especilly if they pack in some X-babies like i heard rumored:D and as for Giant Man the rumor is he'll be the BaF with the Walmart exclusive series

well, there really isnt much you can do with the Hulk...too bad the Maestro turned out to be such a disappointment!

i love the new maestro, i think he't the best of series 12 no question and just a great looking figure period

the only thing the old one has going for it is the cool accesories, sure they would've been great to have on the new one, but it's still a much better figure even without them

rychehitman
12-18-2005, 08:57 AM
From an articulation standpoint, obviously the Marvel Legends is a far superior figure.

From a visual standpoint, and character likeness standpoint the ML figure is a joke! Look how tiny the legs are!

<IMG SRC=http://www.411beanies.com/1capt/120105/112705093.JPG>

Genie pants? Viking Hat? Come on now!

The original had ALL the necessary accessories, coloring, and facial features to be more true to Perez's vision!

I say Fin Fang Foom would make a cool build up for one of the ML series.

Captain Late
01-05-2006, 06:03 AM
As nice as ML is there are some issues. Wonderman and Logan look like crap from the "riders" line and Ultron is just ridiculous. i know a toybiz dude was on the board complaining about how Ultron had all these different looks and they should get a little license but c'mon, Ultron has looked the same for practically 30 years! Black Panther looked a little ragged to me too, the figures are getting a little ruddy looking to me...

Mister Operator
01-05-2006, 10:34 AM
I'm living in Mexico (unfortunately) right now and there's this little toy shack in the mall. They have ML 11 and 12. Being a collector, I almost pooped my pants! So anyway, the only have one bunch of each series. So hopefully nobody buys them all before I can....since I can't really afford to buy them all at once :S .

Ok it's opinion time! I agree with Captain Late on how the figures are starting to look. It's BS! They can do friggin better than that! I'm kind of afraid for the future lines because they sound too good to be true! I hope they aren't all ragged!

I really wish they'd make a Black Bolt though. These kind of results we've been seeing motivates me to become a toy designer and sell my plans to Toybiz. Haha. First of all, I don't care if Wolvy is the most popular character, he doesn't have to be in the ML line-ups all the time. They should just make a Wolverine series if they want to make so many. I love the man but he takes too much space up while others should be made! Am I right or am I crazy?!?!? Well anywayz, ML fourteen should make a Mojo as the build-up. I've finally decided on that haha. I wish they'd hurry and come out with pictures of the prototypes.

Mister Operator
01-08-2006, 07:26 AM

good memories - dumping the megos and other toys into a pile and taking hours to set up a huge diroama on the couch of hutch, etc. only to look at it for a few minutes and tear it down to start all over again. We had all kinds of stuff - I even used a hair net for Spidey to snag the bad guys.
