Yeah I've been playing it for a few days now. Pretty damn fun game. I liked the first one a lot, but this has it's better points to it.
I'll play more when I finish the other 4 games I got last week.

How are the actual space battles? Are they on par with the great Rogue Squadron Rebel Strike games for the Cube?

I 've been playing the hell out of it. Not only have I played as Jedi, you can also play as Boba Fett too. The Emperor is badass to play as too.

Nothing is timed that I know of. It plays like the first one only better.

I have but I have yet to buy it. Bought it from BestBuy.
Bought Brothers in Arms Earned in Blood and Battlefront 2.
This time of the year I spend most of my time playing the new games out there.
Don't have much time throughout the other seasons.

Only a few of the missions objectives in rise of the empire story mode are timed. This game is so awesome :buttrock: ! I opened up a can of whoop @$$ on the rebels last night with Vader on Tantive IV! :buttrock:

anyone play this for ps2?

I have it and its pretty cool. Its the first game I ever had where you run/move with one thumb controller and aim with the other. I'm not very good at it, so it seems kind of hard to me. The whole concept is neat though.

Can somebody tell me how you play as Vader or Boba Fett? Is that in the Rise of the Empire storyline or is it in another? I've just been playing as clonetroopers and an ocasssional bonus character every once in a while.

Heroes become available after you score a certain amount of points, as soon as you score those points you will be asked "do you want to play as...", which character is available depends on what side you are playing for during which era, and what map you are playing on.

Vader would be available if you were playing for the Empire during the galactic civil war on the Tantive IV map, Luke in pilot gear is available if you play for the Rebels during the galactic civil war on Hoth.

I play on PS2 NoHeadset is my tag. Wish I got it on Xbox, Kit Fisto and Asajj Ventress are new heroes to download on live.
