Thanks Bullseye - the original is all painted up right in front of me. Copies are available should anyone want a little Bullseye of their very own. To love and hug and call George, or throw darts at. Whichever, really. :)

Thanks B_C1

Well, #2 is all sketched out, but I thought I'd see how this went down first. It's going to be an occasional thing, if enough people show an interest in seeing more. I would never do one without the full co-operation of the victim, of course.

I can think of an obvious candidate for #3, but whether he will step forward is another matter. You interested for a future one, B_C? I can't say you weren't one of the folks I was mulling over ideas for...;)

Maybe if enough folks volunteer, the images could be used later in a forum version of Top Trumps. Post count, age, number of busts in collection, number of statues in collection, that kind of thing... :)

What a great idea! Like the Marvel Value Stamps. Clip 'em and save 'em!

Now THIS is a collection that promises to be worthwhile as far as completists are concerned!

At least until I crank out the variants. You know how much people round here hate folks with more than one ID...

By the way, for anyone who volunteers for this and likes the picture that results, the painted original would of course be available, maybe with a print thrown in that includes all the text etc. I'm sure some arrangement could be reached... :)

Any thoughts out there on what folks would pay for the originals? Clearly I'd love to carry on doing this particular series, but there's a fair amount of effort involved. This one was painted on paper. I'd be interested to hear folks' thoughts.

How would folks feel about something like GB£20-25ish for the inked and painted original, possibly including a print of the computerised piece (including text, etc)? I'm interested to hear what people would think. I don't want to pitch it too high, but then again I would like this to be a worthwhile venture. Not that giving a cheap laugh to a bunch of you guys every week or so isn't worthwhile, of course...;)

Thanks again, everybody. Glad you like it TC.

Valemeister - Top Trumps would be great! I'm thinking post count, age, pieces in collection, number of times banned...

Ish - if anyone throws hundreds of dollars at the talented forum sculptors to immortalise themselves in resin according to these designs, I hope they spare a thought (and a few dimes...) for me!:)

Okay, despite a hectic schedule looming, I managed to get You've Been Busted #6 out a day early. Yay me. I hope folks don't mind if #7 does not appear next week, fingers crossed it won't be too far away from appearing on the first day of 2006.

Let me take the opportunity to say thanks to everyone for the kind words and support in 2005, here's to more of the same in 2006. I urge anyone who enjoys these to take a look around the Good Grief section, if they haven't already done so. There's the Peanuts pics, of course, the Busted strip (hopefully one more before Christmas) and a new gallery which is going to be updated featuring archive strips from the Marvel approved web comic I write, Year One, drawn by forum member melike. If you like Marvel, but haven't checked it out, I implore you to do so.

Again, thanks - the only way any of this stuff can and will continue is with your support and feedback. Have a great Christmas and New Year.
