Some people are just crazy if they think someone is going to pay that much for a game system. And it is the lower one. the Retail price for htat is like 350.

Those flippers had to work hard to get those 360's... standing in the bitter cold in the seattle area to the rain in the new york area... sometimes up to 72 hours... I think they should get whatever they can. Yeah... this guy is an idiot... most likely put 1 too many zeros...

If you want to be mad... be mad at the idiots that are paying this price... 1200 to 3000... be mad at them.. because they are the idiots that are driving this frenzy, even though more shipments are coming on Friday... and then every week there after...

yea I know seriosuly haha! I can see if the release day that Halo 3 came with the game then OK but still yet though haha this is way too much!. at the prices they are goiung for on eBay make like there is only 1000 made of this system :laugh:

Well I only stood in line for one hour and 30 minutes. I only got the core system. My Wal-Mart only had 2 premiums. Sold mine on ebay for 660. I am saving the profit for the PS3 next year. I am totally anti Microsoft!

I only did this once - when the PS2 came out, I stayed out in line all night at my
local Best Buy to get one of the stupid things. What an idiot I was, as I got it
to keep, and still have it. I should have turned around and sold it ASAP then.
I paid $300+ for the thing, and had to sleep in a parking lot all night with 100
other boneheads. Now you can get a smaller, better version for $150 + free game.

Having said all that, I'd do the same thing over to get a XBox 360 just to re-sell at
this point to take the profit and put into other things. There is NO reason to go
all crazy over the thing, as there'll be plenty to go around later, and the price
will be cheaper too, just like all game systems and computers.

When the PS3 comes out next year I'll have to get in on it early I guess......

wow ashley! its so crazy too now, I see so much people selling and getting a profit too like this I should have pre-ordered to do that too! and just wait and buy another one when its cheaper :)

Just wait a bit, and it will inevitably drop in price. I reckon the PS3 will repeat the success of PS1 and PS2, and Microsoft will be giving 360's away before too long

On the brightside of all this, we'll all be able to pick up Xbox games and accessories cheap! And then we can play these games online all we want till PS3 comes and the 360 drops down a 100 bucks!

I got done last time round...don't know what happened in America, but in the UK, the price of the first Xbox dropped very soon after release. I paid £300 for mine, then it dropped to £200 a week later! They did offer those people who paid £300 something like 2 free games and a controller to make up for it, but I would have preferred to get £100 back. None of the 360 launch games particularly attract me, so I am going to wait a bit

Waited in front of a BestBuy at 5am, only to be told they didn't get any more. Ran over to Toysrus before they opened at 6am, told they didn't get any more either. 3 days after launch and no more shipments? Sounds strange to me. I think Microsoft is enjoying the madness. I'll wait for PS3.

I like all the hate for M$ but people ignore the fact as to what Sony's done lately with the cd's they sell. Who know, maybe the PS3 will in fact, blow up your house ;)

I want a 360 but since I didn't get one opening day, I"m not going to go out looking for one at all. Whenever I finally see one when getting something else is when I'll buy it.
