Apparently we hit our peak day back in October 2004. I wonder what it would take to beat that? I think that was the first Friday that Randy asnwered questions, but I might be mistaken.

It could have been the first day Randy showed sneak peeks on here. Which just so happened to be the day I joined.

We should have a day to beat that record. Everyone log on at the same time.

I remember that day because I noticed the number was much higher than normal and much, much higher than we were seeing back in those early days.. If I recall correctly, it wasn't because there were 289 people on at the same time. There are alot of spider programs and automaticated software that logs onto websites and I think we had a huge number of those hitting the site on that particular day. 150-200 is a much more realistic high for any one point in time.

So is there a way to erase the stats from that day so we can get a more accurate account of the most users logged on legitimately from another day? Whew...sorry for the run-on sentence. :D

So...how do you know when Randy's showing sneak peaks when you're not online?
I doubt this was the reason for the peak.

I think the free ice cream cone coupons from Baskin Robbins might have had something to do with it!

I noticed the active users were pretty high this morning.

I was having a conversation with Heather about the BEARDED PUNISHER. She said that customers were calling to complain. I casually mentioned that people were posting pictures here on STATUEFORUM.COM, of how crappy their busts turned out. Within the hour Randy had registered. By the following week Randy had recovered from the burnout of the old BOWEN DESIGNS Forum and was posting frequently, and the record was set.
