Hey Randy, can Phase THREE (Starting Jan.'06) be the phase that sees the AVENGERS completed? (no NEW Avengers yet!)

There are only about 50 left:

Wasp (Janet van Dyne)
Rick Jones joined as an Honorary Member
Swordsman I (Jacques Duquesne)
Hercules
Black Knight III (Dane Whitman)
Mantis
Moondragon (Heather Douglas)
Hellcat (Patsy Walker Baxter)
Wonder Man (Simon Williams)
The Guardians of the Galaxy (Aleta, Charlie-27, Martinex, Nikki, Starhawk, Vance Astro, Yondu) became Honorary Members in Avengers #168 (Mar 78) after helping fight Korvac.
The Whizzer (Robert Frank) joined as a Reserve Member long enough to pick up a retirement check in Avengers #173 (Jul 78). He has since died, but his son once worked as a groundskeeper for the team.
Two-Gun Kid (Matthew Hawk ne Liebowitz) joined as a Reserve Member in Avengers #174 (Aug 78), after having met a time-traveling Hawkeye and visiting the present. He returned to the past, and was killed in the MAX series Blaze of Glory.
Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers)
Jocasta
Tigra (Greer Grant Nelson)
Captain Marvel II (Monica Rambeau)
Starfox (Eros of Titan)
Mockingbird (Barbara Morse Barton)
Dr. Druid (Anthony Ludgate, formerly Dr. Droom)
Marrina (Marrina Smallwood) was granted Honorary status in Avengers #282 (Aug 87).
Yellowjacket II (Rita DeMara) gained Honorary status in Avengers Annual #17 (1988)
Demolition Man (Dennis Dunphy)
Gilgamesh of the Eternals
Quasar (Wendell Vaughn, formerly Marvel Boy II)
Firebird (Bonita Juarez, sometimes Espirita)
The Golden Age Human Torch (Jim Hammond) signed up in Avengers West Coast #50 (Nov 89). He no longer has his flame powers -- or, at least, not to the extent he did before.
Sersi of the Eternals
Stingray (Walter Newell) was inducted in Avengers #319 (Jul 90).
Rage (Elvin Halliday) joined as Probationary Member in Avengers #329 (Feb 91). Rage was booted when it was revealed he was a minor.
Living Lightning (Miguel Santos)
Spider-Woman II (Julia Carpenter
Thor II (Eric Masterson, later Thunderstrike)
Machine Man (Aaron Stack, also X-51) joined in Avengers West Coast #83 (Jun 92). His membership has been revoked due to a mind-control storyline, and he has yet to explain himself to get his membership back.
Darkhawk (Christopher Powell) made the grade in Avengers West Coast #94 (May 93).
Swordsman II (Philip Jarvert)
Magdalene, two characters from an alternate universe, hung around the team off and on from roughly Avengers #357 (Dec 92) to Avengers/Squadron Supreme Annual #1 (1998
Deathcry
Firestar (Angelica Jones)
Justice (Vance Astrovik, formerly Marvel Boy III)
Triathlon (Delroy Garrett Jr.)
Silverclaw (Maria de Guadelupe Santiago)
Jack of Hearts (Jonathan Hart)
Ant-Man II (Scott Lang)

What do you say, there are about a dozen non -essential characters, but the AVENGERS are a must!

Well, In a roundabout way there are some...

Spidey, the whole FF except Johnny, Namor, Captain Marvel (70's)

But I think (outside of ones that are CLEARLY AVENGERS) there are plenty that aren't!

I've brought this up before (twice ;) ) so if you've seen it before, forgive me.

I would still really be interested in a diorama or connecting base piece of this Avengers Founders pic.

Offered in full color and maybe one in chrome / bronze as in the pic. I think it could be truly great.

HAHAHAHA! Yeah, I don't think they did either - which is why it only lasted 12 issues. Maybe fans would have had more faith if Chuck Austin wasn't the one that kicked the series off.

Too bad though, as the series was pretty cool! The Blazing Skull was awesome and in the last issue... (**SPOILER WARNING**, highlight to see)

Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers)
Tigra (Greer Grant Nelson)
Quasar (depending on the costume/sculpt)
Stingray (depending on the sculpt)
Spider-Woman II (Julia Carpenter)
Firestar (Angelica Jones) (depending on the costume)
Ant-Man II (Scott Lang)
