Not crazy about the change-o-head statues... Reminds me of a transformer.
LOL

The more optional pieces there are to a statue, the more it becomes like a toy. JMO

You think the next Thor will decrease the demand for yours?
If so, how come?

I think the first BD Thor statue will remain relatively stable value-wise for a while... It's one of my faves. Of course, I'm only speaking for myself. :)

I would wait until you see a preview copy or sneak peak of the new Thor.. would hate to sell a statue and then see Randy post something that you dont like... and kick yourself for selling yout awsome Thor statue. And who knows... perhaps Randy wont do a second Thor Statue.

The new one is obviously going to be better than the original, which IMO will likely devalue the first.

Or it could be worse... it could be an action pose.. *shudder* Right now you have Thor in a very Museum quality pose... what if he is like swinging his Hammer down across his body... Keep the one you got... and wait...

Wasnt there a difference between the COH & the regular aside from the head? Like paint application?

primal. i think the yellow was on the first and the coh had more of a gold look to it, like on the boots

Someone once posted side by side shots. In addition to the paint, there were differences in the musculature. For example, the arms were more well defined on the original than on the COH, which I own.

Anyone own both the original and the COH. Which do you prefer?

on the orig. the boots are yellow, the base has some blueish highlights, on the coh the boots are gold and the base is darker(no highlights).

I finally managed to picked the COH Thor a couple weeks back for about $170. Aside from the fact that the beard doesn't match the hair, I'm loving this piece. I don't own the original so not sure what the actual differences might be.. but I remember starting a thread about this one way back when. Color of the base may be different, the reds a bit darker on one than the other, chest circles having different bluish color on one, etc..
