I prefer the red without armbands if you're going to make a third. It is a lot of FS for a character which isn't exactly "mainstream..."

Personally, I've had it with exclusives that aren't "exclusive". If this becomes available I will try to get one only to flip it for five or six times it's initial value to pay for the items I really want. Color doesn't matter. I only want to buy in order to flip.

i'm getting the hh green so i want the bd sculpt to be a diffrent vesion. but not that stripe one.

Tough one.

Red is the color used for the first few Silver Age revival appearances...

...but the striped trunks are valid for the '50s revival...

...but the blue-black trunks are valid for the original Golden Age version...

Hey, let's just set a new record and have 5 different versions of one statue! Instead of 300 of one variant, make 100 each of 3 variants!

KIDDING! :laugh: KIDDING!

Stick with the green and the black versions, and skip additional variants. Just ship me the existing prototypes and forget it ever happened. :p

Absolutely! It's part of the strategy I'm having to develop to be a collector of Bowen busts and statues. My objective is to buy all the so called exclusives and rare varients even if I don't want them in order to flip them to help finance the purchase of the items I missed like the Phasing Vision. I will buy, or attempt to buy, whatever Namor statue comes out if it is a rare one. I see absolutely nothing wrong with plan.

That's what he wore during the Atlas revival in the mid-'50s (Sub-Mariner 1st Series #33 - 42).

I wonder why Dr. Wertham didn't pick up on this! It was the '50s. The witch hunt was ON!

I guess he was more concerned with rooting out and exposing "headlight" covers than he was with questioning the orientation of a guy in tacky trunks!

I'm curious to see how this will play out given that BD made more of the black costume Subby... I ordered a green trunks version myself and passed on the black... While I do believe they're both nice, for some reason, I don't see this one flying off the shelves. Factor in that HH, DST, and BD will all be releasing their Subbys within similar time frames, it could end up drowning our Subby.

Mr. bowen One little request please..take all the negative comments here with a grain of salt...The technicolor one if ever you decide to release it.....300 would be too small a number..500 or a little more would be a better number..I know if you do decide to release a ultra-low run subby I would really like to have one and so would some of those collectors that say they wouldn't get one..=)..If you can give us international collectors by giving Previews a shot at distributing or your bowen site would be fine..at least we have more of a shot..Have a great day sir..=)...
