Colan, has to be Colan... I'll take Ditko too, but Colan is still the best choice... Paul Smith had a stellar run on Dr Strange short though it was... Smith may be my favorite artist who never works in comics anymore, I have an old con sketch by him from the 80s...

On my personal list, Brunner comes a close second to Colan. Frank didn't have as long of a run on Doc as Gene (taking over from Gene for maybe 11-12 issues, and then passing it back to him), so Colan's work has more of a lock on my preference here.

Even though Ditko was co-creator/original artist for Doc and Clea, I've always considered Colan's work to be the definitive version.
