Sculpted from scratch. Also on the AIX piece, the A.P. was planned when the piece was released, it was just never gotten to. So the plan right now is a 300-350 run with a different base. He even reduced the edition size from the originally planned 500 because of concerns of devaluing the original.

I do! It's definitely in my top 5 books that I read and collect, though I've been a little dissapointed with the last couple issues, I'm hoping they turn it around soon.

Clay is waiting to release finished pics. He told me he hasn't taken many WIP pics and he doesn't feel like they show a great progression. I should have the finished pics in the next couple of weeks as I just finished molding the head and will be sending Clay back the head and a casting to use on the statues. My vaccuum pump died last night, but I don't think that will cause much of a delay, as I hope to have it replaced by the time I get the finished piece for molding. I will post as soon as I have something to show you guys.

But the good news is when you guys start to see stuff you will see alot of different stuff. Right now in addition to both Withcblade statues I am finishing the Katchoo mini statue and the base for the Thor/Silver Surfer diorama (still no production plans, we just wanted to finish it).

A quick update on this piece. I don't have unpainted pics to show you guys because I sent them off to the painter in a rush and forgot to take them. The painted pieces are in San Diego with Clay. Today is the first time he will have seen them in person and if he thinks they are ready they will be on display at the show. If he doesn't they will be held back for revisions. If they go on display I will post pics later today. If not I will get another casting ready in the next week and get some pics up for you guys soon.

As for the other version I mentioned in a thread here somewhere that it is an exclusive and the exclusive holder will debut any pics, so it may be awhile. Not sure what their timetable is.
