What do you want from Hard Hero?

Hey folks,
I realized that there aren't a whole bunch of "Hey Rob and Seth I want a..." threads. So instead of starting a bunch of them I figured why not one thread with our wants. Not one of those "If they don't make it I'm selling my entire collection" threads. (Besides there are only two!) But hey why not? I figure we may as well give Rob and Seth some idea of what we're looking for while its still early in the line. I for one am looking forward to collecting these for a while. I love the Thor and Can't wait to get the Hulk and Iron Fist. Any way here's my Hard Hero top ten "want" list (not including confirmed projects):

Hmm. I actually feel the exact opposite. I do thin Seth should do the whole line. Why? Because it gives the line a certain consistentcy. Not to knock the other guys down, because they are all great sculptors, but it would be nice to have the same style all through.

And yeah, we need Iron Man, Colossus and a complete D.C. line :buttrock:

Otherwise, a full size Hercules (with beard offcourse) would be nice.

There are so many Marvel characters to choose from, e.g., Mystique, Enchantress, She Hulk, Tigra, Lady Sif, Ms Marvel, Clea, Dazzler, Mary Jane (a la Jusko painted poster), Emma Frost with cape, Shadow Cat, Spiderwoman...

My first thought would be to get as many HH statues into as many different homes as quickly as possible. I'm not sure I'd want to go head to head with BD right off the bat. That's almost like trying to take the Thursday 8 o'clock slot from Friends. While it is possible to do it, I think it's going about things the hard way (no pun intended).

What would I want? The sculpts done so far are clearly done by very talanted individuals w/ a keen eye and expert hand. But...

....I would love for the anatomy of the statues to be a bit more realistically proportioned. And I would love the paint jobs to be a bit less "two-dimentional"/cartoony and done with greater attention to shading and the subtlties of the same to accentualte anatomy well....

The Hard Hero line has a terrific core of 1/6th scale Avengers, with Thor already on the shelf, Cap almost in hand, and Hawkeye on the way. Even Namor and the Hulk count (although I'll always think of them more as Defenders than Avengers.)

I say, keep the Avengers assembling, and these are my top picks:

Goliath (1960s Pym)
Goliath (Clint Barton)
Wonder Man (the quintessential Avenger, and no statue or MB yet!)
Iron Man (classic armor)
The Black Knight (brandishing his sword... no 1/6th scale flying horse!)
The Vision
Yellowjacket
The Falcon
Quicksilver
The Scarlet Witch (she deserves an action pose!)

Black Panther would be great, too, but Bowen just released two superb statues of T'Challa, so I'd give priority to the above. The Vision has a Bowen FS coming out, too, but an action pose and HH's 1/6th scale would make him a welcome addition to the line-up.

Actually, there are plenty of other Avengers who deserve statues, but these would be my top choices. The X-Men are great, but we have X-Men statues and busts out the wazoo. Jarvis-Heads, unite!!!

Daredevil is coming as Rob have hinted when he previewed the DD European statue and Rob also mentioned a line of Xmen (I think he mentioned a total of 10, correct me if I'm wrong), so I believe Wolverine is the first, since he's already previewed the European version. Since Rob is a big fan of obscure characters I'm going to throw in my vote for Black Bolt, Luke Cage, Falcon (maybe a green variant), Nighthawk, Goliath, Nova, Quicksilver, and Black Knight. As for Xmen, Thunderbird and Banshee are a must!

P.S. Don't try to steal my thunder dude. That Golden Fist is a disgrace don't be like Bats who keeps trying to turn this whole thing on BD's Thanos. Iron Fist being gold has nothing to do with Bowens Thanos.
