The Best Bowen Marvel Mini-Bust: Round 2, Match 3! Ugly Wars!!!

This is Round 2, Match 3 of “The Best Bowen Marvel Mini-Bust” poll! In the previous round, we saw the end of the clear Iceman bust, which is one of the coolest variants in my opinion! The Human Torch also bit the big one, leaving The Thing as the only remaining Fantastic 4 representative in the tournament!

You can vote for up to 6 of your favorites! This round sees the hideous Peter Parker/Spider-Man versus Hamburger-Faced Unmasked Deadpool! Which hideously deformed freak who can't get a date will survive, if either?! Meanwhile, representatives from the X-Men, Inhumans, Avengers, and Defenders will battle it out!

Vote for the top 6 busts listed in the poll. You can vote for less than 6, but you can’t vote for more than 6. I'm randomly selecting busts from the pool of mini-busts who survived Round 1. Do not complain about the selections or ask to vote for someone not listed--if they're not listed, it's just not their turn yet or they've already been eliminated.

One of the drawbacks of random selection is that there’s a high probability of ending up with a bunch of weak sculpts in one group and strong sculpts in another group.

The first round had twelve matches. I’m assuming that the second round will have eight (?) matches. Three second round matches are already settled (as far as the characters that were selected).

Only one first round match winner (Rhino) has been presented in the first three matches of the second round. That means that in the remaining five matches, we’re going to see an abundance of first round match winners as well as a bunch of second place match winners. There will be a possibility of having two or three first round winners and two or three second place winners in each of the upcoming matches.

In other words, we’ve seen the weakest mini busts in the first three matches. The next five matches are going to be a lot more difficult.

Wow. I can't believe people don't like the PP/Spidey! That little bust captures the early 60's version of the Spidey character perfectly! It's like it's lifted directly from the pages of Ditko's drawing board. I guess people can't see past bulging muscles and shiney chrome...

I am so with you on this! And there's even a 'lil spider crawling on his back! :D They even use the 1/2 Peter / Spidey face all the time in the comics I figured it'd do better than this.

I agree too. We seem to like the same sculpts (FFF, Mr. Sinister and now, the Sentinel). The Sentinel looks great and is a nice representation of the character. It's unfortunate that it didn't make it past this round.
