I'm really curious what kind of "tweaking" the Black Knight bust needed....do you guys think it was the shield (covered up too much of the bust? And, really, when did Dane ever really use a shield?!?)
There are so many Avengers due......Dane, Herc, Tigra, The Wasp, Wonder Man, Ms. Marvel.......RB has to toss us a couple of bones (sketches, painted prototypes, anything!!).

What about Wasp bust and kneeling GiantMan/Wasp FS? Warbird, Photon, Swordsman and Mantis at some point would be cool too. And what about villians, Kang and Wrecking Crew? Lots more to be made.

I'd like to see a Captain America frozen in an iceberg statue (Avengers 4).

I'd also like one of Cap when he was eventually dethawed and lying on a slab with tattered clothes and his shield over his chest...

If I were to ever buy an Avengers statue, I'd like it to be a group action shot (sort of like the cover of #44, VOL. I), or a posed shot of them all standing there, sort of like the cover of #25, VOL II....or is that III?).

But enough with the statue talk.......this is a bust thread!!!!!! :eplus2:

No one has commented on the Black Knight delay.......does anyone else think it might have been because of the shield (covering up too much of the bust)?

Amen to a Goliath / Giant-Man FS with the Wasp, but he doesn't need to be kneeling any more than Galactus did. Goliath spent most of his time at 10 feet tall, which would make a statue in scale with the other Avengers FS pieces about 17 inches tall: same as Galactus.

I'd also love to see the Swordsman and Mantis, in any format.

I have to agree, we need heroes, Avengers especially. Lately it's been more like Villain Designs when it comes to the mini-bust line. Look at the bowen site now, the bust section has 4 villains and just 2 heroes. Those don't include the recents; Sandman, Abomination, Vulture, Mephisto, and Absorbing Man, all great sculpts but let's balance things out abit. We need Tigra, Black Knight, Hercules, Ms. Marvel, & Wonder Man just to name a few.
