I may be in the minority, but I'm loving the info. about the MB. I think I was one of the few that actually voted for the old lightning bolt costume in the poll here a while ago. This is being done by the Kuchareks', and I can hardly wait for it. :buttrock:

After what happended last year with Katrina and the tsunami in Southeast Asia, we realized that we did not need to wait for exclusives to make donations. Sometimes those in need, need the money asap.

We may still do an "earmarked" project in the future, but for the most part we just donate a large sums to the Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, and some childrens charities that are in our area.

I couldn't agree with you more. A few things could be improved, line scale being the most important, but they have some talent. It would be nice to see bowen and moore do a piece or two for them. :)

My guess is Marvel didnt approve John's Apocalypse. It happened to Professor Charles X, Black Knight and Hercules busts b4. However, I dont understand why this is the case for Apocalypse. IMO, John's Apocalypse is right on except he needs some modifications on his back b/c I found that Big A's back is very narrow and too thin. I guess we have to be patient. :buttrock:

I can understand Prof. X not being approved - too many people seemed to dislike it! - and I still think the shield hid too much of the Knight bust, causing Marvel to nix it (sure hope that's one of the ones Randy's busy tweaking!), but for the life of me I can't figure out what was wrong with the Hercules bust!!
As much as I want Tigra, The Wasp, Warbird, Wonder Man, Havok, Polaris and Valkyrie......I won't be completely satisfied until we get Herc and Dane!

I also wish you would reconsider the Classic version of Warlock. It's the Starlin version that I really want to buy. Next to the Lee/Kirby run, Byrne's FF was one of the best takes on the FF.

The mid 60s and the mid 80s were perhaps the best comic reading eras of all time. Miller's DD, Simonson's Thor, Byrne's FF, Moore's Swamp Thing, Layton's Iron Man, Stern's Dr. Strange... What a time this was to buy comics!
