Abomination cheap base what gives???

Whats with the new cheesy base on Abomination. This guy is suppose to be solid as a rock and we get a plasticy, cheesey, breakable base? What's the deal here????????

Thats right. Its like a glued on plastic cheap base that will come off someday.

Similar to a glued on felt that would eventually come off as well.

What are you talking about hulknthor? My A-Bomb has a big, stone like base that doesn't seem like it's going to come off.Like Jesse said, do you have a picture? Maybe I missed it but mine doesn't ppear to be glued on.I rather like the base in it's simplicity.It,to me, represents aspects opf A-bomb in that it's solid ,strong,and big.

Azog ... is that little black dish looking portion of the piece attached, or does it come off like the bottom of the Classic Wolverine bust?

I think that is what he is referring to, but no it does not come off, I believe it is merely attached to prevent it from being top heavy, cause the bust is huge by Bowen Standards..

Okay so if it's a separate piece, maybe his just wasn't glued on well enough ... but a drop of superglue would take care of it if that was the case. :confused:

maybe he got the special plastic edition limited to only 1 piece. not accepting any additional orders, since it is sold out!!!!

I'm referring to the name plate on the bottom of the base. It is ultra thin and attached via glue to the rock hard base. It is about 1/100 of an inch thick and made of plastic. Im not camera/computer literate.

Somebody else sent pic.

Take a close look. Its like a guitar pick glued to the bottom of the base.

I know what he means now. They did this with Sandman and BAT. Rather than painting edition # and everything else on the bottom of the base it's painted on a thin piece of plastic that is glued onto the bottom.

Yes it is,also very top heavy with her hair, mine fell twice but I caugt it in time. However I came home to find her fingerless and right side up.I asked the housekeeper because she was there that day but of course she had no idea how it happened.9Yeah right)Glued the fingers back on so no big deal :)

Just opened mine and there is nothing cheap about this piece. It's awesome.
