A local shop I just went into has a Bowen Batman with no Box for $400 (half off asking price of $800). I passed, but bought the 2nd edition Grendel with a torn box for $75.

I would try and pick it up for $300.00 if it's mint, and if you plan on keeping it for yourself its worth it,who cares about the Box it's the statue that matters Imo.

yeah, I picked up a hulk bust with a chip on it a few years ago, it is missing it's styrofoam as well. They were going for $300 or more then, I paid $90 for it because I don't plan on ever selling it. Hulk is my favorite character and I love that bust. So for me it was worth it. The chip is tiny and on the back, never see it.

So I would say try for less and get it. The guy wanted $125 for the hulk bust, got it for $90.

I don't think he would have come down on price since he was asking $800 to begin with. The store had a 50% off sale on everything over 1 month old. I had not noticed that and almost left empty handed. Once I saw the sign, I bought nearly 30 trades.

if you walk in there with 3 one-hundred dollar bills, and say that these are yours if you sell me that statue...I bet he goes for it! CASH talks! If he doesnt...make for the door...he will probably stop you!
