Eternity would be difficult. I'm thinking a statue similar to the invisible version of the invisible woman only dark and I guess with little planets & stars "floating" inside the piece itself...

I dont think it would have to be clear. I think its all in the paint job an how they work everything together. Maybe a clear coat on top after its done.
