Just got an e-mail from MR saying the Vader, Shock Troop and plain Clone helmets are ready to start shipping the week of January 9th.
That is going to be an expensive week. :eek:

Finally!!! I have the Shock Helm, Special Ops Helm, Vader Helm signed by Hayden, the Obi Elite, and 4 Star Corps helms all coming from MR this month.

Why couldn't they have spaced these out more?!!! :banghead:

That's over $4k of stuff just from MR that will be shipping to me in a matter of weeks. I'll definitely need to flip some of it. The release schedule on these is ridiculous. :puke2:

Agreed. Maybe it's a clearing out the warehouse rush so they wont have to pay taxes on it for the fiscal year.

Just got the email confirmation for my Shock Trooper helmet. I think I'm just going to stick with the plain white though. The ol' collection room is getting a bit crowded!

I read on another board that the only way the helmet fits on a Detolf is without the stand.

Yup, you may need to remove one of the Detolf shelfs for it to fit.

Once I get my room set up I think I am going to put Helmets on top of Detlofs.

Yeah I'm a fat head. I could probably put it on but there is no way I could get if off without cutting it in 2. :redface:

Guys, I got 4 of the Star Corps helmets in today!!! They rock! :buttrock:

I'm 6'4" also, and it is a tight fit for me. T. Morrison is 5'7", so that is about right. I actually read that MR increased the size on these 10-15% in order to make them more realistic. Apparently ILM shrunk them a bit to avoid the "big head" syndrome.

I'm also getting the Spec. Ops. and the Shock, so I'll have a pic of all 3 together when they arrive. Maybe I should add a white clone and have a grouping of 4? :eplus2:

I really wish they made a Gree. :banghead:

If you remove the pad that is attached w/ Velcro on the inside top of the helmet, it just about fits in a Detolf. Maybe if I unscrew the disc on top of the stand, that will make it fit?

Dang, still no word on mine. Fedex shows delivery on wednesday, no box at home. Starwarshop hasn't repsonded to email and Fedex hasn't called like they were supposed to. So long $399!

It showed up tonight! It was delivered to a house with similar numbers to mine and they brought it to me, whew!! Pretty cool looking helmet for sure, the first thing I noticed is the hairline cracks in the paintjob at the right round speakerish area on the bottom front. At this price I figure I gotta send it back for replacement. At least its here and a nice item.

Twoguns, is that what your paint flaw looks like? This is how I got mine and I am defintitely returning it at this price. I have sent several emails to StarWarsShop and still no response.

Grond33 - That is the area of the problem, on the curved area on the right side, but there are about 3 actual cracks in the paint. Its been a week today since Fedex "delivered" it (to the wrong address) and Starwarsshop has gotten back to me just today (a week later) that they will look into it, I had emailed them to nevermind since the neighbor brought it over, guess they haven't read that email yet. I figure the holdiay set them back a few days in responding.

I cancelled all my helmet orders. They just don't look good with clean paint jobs. Plus they didn't paint the "mohawk". I was totally unimpressed. I'll save my money and space for something better.

I received some, and sent them all back. Not impressed with the small flaws on the paint job and quality for the price. Hoping Vader Helmet will be much better

I am considering returning it for a refund rather than exchange. Its cool but the paintjob regardless of the cracks didn't wow me, several flaws. Plus that price tag...my have to return.

Yup, I sent mine all back for a refund. And canceled the ones they didn't ship.

Not bad, not a fan of the "creme" painted scheme, though. Looks like he was having some milk and coffee and got all splashed in the face! :laugh:
But isn't complete yet from what he says..
