Hmmm, I could be wrong here, but he wasn't blue until he got his "razor wings" right? Nice bust but the blue is throwing me off!

I see, yeah the wings are fantastic, but I agree Primal, the Yellow, the blue and the red, just don't mix. :(

I've been waiting for a DST Angel. I like the overall lok of this, but I'm not sure I like the blue skin. Think I'll wait to see the mass release version...maybe it will be flesh color with the mask.

Might get it anyway, but the wings are anatomically completely wrong, the head looks plopped on, the face sculpt is so-so, the hair looks like a Ken doll, and the colors look bleh. But still like Angel. Won't pay more than $50 for it though.

I have to say that comparing this bust to Bowen Designs.....both have their own flaws.
This DST Angel bust is very very detailed and the sculptor put in alot of effort to present this bust in a very artistic manner. The base is ok. As for the wings....I can give a score of 10/10 perfect!
But the painter prefer Angel to be blue skinned. That I dont mind.....This Angel really looks charming, perhaps the only flaw is no pupils on his eyes....making him look devilish. Hopefully DST fans can try to appeal to have pupils added on his eyes to make it more appealing? Then this bust will be almost 9.5/10 perfect!

I have to disagree. The wings, which look like an afterthought, are crammed onto the piece just to make them fit and although they are detailed, they are anatomically incorrect.

The head looks like it got the same short shrift - sculpted in three minutes.

After making some good strides recently, this is a step backward for DST. BTW, the Bowen Angel is not much better, but at least Sam was bold enough to clip the wings. The definitive Angel bust is yet to be made.

Mysterio, the astonishing edition of Emma and the forthcoming Vindicator/Guardian. Death of Phoenix looks pretty good as well.

They were making good strides??? when.Cmon man. Theve picked up their game with the Astonishing Xmen line, the Logan origin bust, the Black Queen Jean Grey. They still have a ways to go with some of their current releases but they're making progress I think.

Mysterio Bah.TheSpidey Rouges were Eh.Rhino Sucked.Vindicator is ok.The Astonishing pieces looked great on the pics but up close they are blah.
Wolvie looks constipated,Kittys paint job is aweful.Beat looks like a wet cat as does Sasquatch.

Have you seen these pieces in person.i did at Boston and IMO they dont look great at all.Characters look too stocky.
