Now this what a sculpture of Prince Namor, the Sub-Mariner should look like!! Sorry about that - I am unable to post pictures at this time, but I wanted to let those folks who are interested know that this is a must not miss piece. Hopefully someone else will be able to post pictures. In the meantime, go order one if you have not already! If you are a Sub-Mariner, and/or classic Marvel fan you will not be disappointed!

I gotta tell ya abmarv, I think you might be right.I don't limit myself to one co, but prefer Bowen to most and I don't want this to be what's better BD's or HH's.I think both lines cater to individual tastes, so being better is subjective.I loved the black costume namor -was determined to buy it, but after I took long looks at both pieces HH namor might just be the one for me.The pose,the siae, his face- I'm on the fence on it but leaninng toward HHs and no one is more surprised than me.
BD and HH rock.Sory about the BD mention on this thread.

i saw it at a LCS, and it is definately better than the manufacturers photos. i was impressed, but I dont think it will compare to Randy's.

I have to agree abmarv! This is the best statue I have seen in quite some time! Absolutely amazing! The statue is waaaay better than the pics could show! If you haven't gotten a Hard Hero statue yet, make sure you pick this one up!

Funny - it seems that this Namor would be a good match to the Fathom Statue.
The pose and water-under-the-feet thing are mighty similar.

Just want to reiterate what Ashley said. anyone who doesn't have a HH and hasn't seen them, make sure you see them in person because the pictures don't really do them justice.I was so wrong about this line.HH is definatly a different style and thats refreshing.Love the line now.

gives the collection a better look, why have 2 of the same statues, makes no sense.
Actually bowen is making three of tha same statues, red , green and the black suit one. I like my collection to looks different , who in there right minds only buy bowen, that would look boring and plain.

What an awesome statue! You can see his foot through the water base. And the face is dead on! I've always liked this character, but was never happy with the 3D pieces (busts/Afigures) that had come out so far. But this one is the real thing!

I received mine about 2 weeks ago. It's a nice statue, but it doesn't have that "wow" factor that I was expecting. It's a clean sculpt with nice color and is true to the comics, but the pose could have been a little better (display issues). Maybe I'll view this one differently after a few more HH statue releases, depending on if we see more characters in this Avengers series, or if they jump to others like the Fantastic Four, etc.

Got mine on Friday and I love it. Definite WOW! factor for me. Subby burtsing out of the water ready to punch the $#@% out of somebody certainly says "wow" to me.

I saw this statue the other day at my local comic shop in the city.
The statue is quite tall but looks great. Very vibrant in color.
Great piece.
