I actually got mine on Wednesday. Too bad I did not check it too thoroughly, because both ankles are cracked, actually looks like they were broken and someone glued it back together. The statue is a one piece statue and cannot be detached from the base and since mine is still in one piece it leads me to believe that the factory or what not tried to fix it before shipping out. On mine the left bicep also seems to have been repaired and repainted and the butt area looks like the paint was rubbed off (insert joke here, I guess). Overall it's a real nice piece and in spite of all these things I still like it a lot. Luckily the flaws aren't immediately noticeable. I love Sam Greenwell's work. Hope everyone checks more thoroughly than I did.

Man, I'd send it back if I were you. The statue wasn't cheap! She was a little tough to get out of the styrofoam too, I thought. Anyway, I'm gonna go home tonite and more closely inspect mine for the problems you cited.

I don't know, I would still mention it to him/her. At least let them know that Diamond is sending them crap. Also, most small family retailers i know would want to know, to keep customers happy. You are more valuable to them as a continuing and frequent buyer. Most good retailers would not want you to be hesitant about buying from them in the future, if they can fix it now.

If the confrontation makes you uncomfortable, maybe you can send them an email or a phone call and just mention all the defects. The defects sound bad on this end.

Plus if you even need to sell it, you'll wish you had done something. JMHO.

I'll definitely let him know, and no fear of a confrontation as I'm pretty close to the LCS owner. I just figure if it doesn't bother me, then I won't put him through the trouble of getting another with diamond. I use to work there, so I know how much of a hassle it is for hime to deal with diamond. But thanks for the advice. And I definitely agree, that he should know that Diamond is sending not so good product.

Anyone ever have to cut away at the foam insert to get a statue out before?

Who approved the packaging on this. Luckily in one piece but I was almost sure I was going to break her ankles getting her out of the box!

Like the face and the pose. Glad I picked her up and also glad that Bowen's She-Hulk design isn't in the FF outfit.

I agree about the base. Sam's sculpt of She-Hulk is awesome but once again Diamond has followed through with an ordinary base. First Rogue, now She-Hulk. Gotta say that Bowen's bases have far more impact even when they are the simple black designs. Love the face & figure on this statue, will be interested to see Bowen's product when it is ready.

Its a great looking sculpt its just a pity they didn't do a better job on the base.

I got #420 today, I love this statue. I ran out of room so the fullsize Vision went back in the box and in the closet. She-Hulk took his place along side Venom and Juggs.
