Ok. no Bowen, no Sideshow, no Gentle Giant, no Hard Hero, no Master Replica. I just got to thinking and was wondering what licenses are out there that you would like to see turned into statues and busts? There must be a ton of properties out there that haven't been done by any of the big boys.

Good one Azog. Folks, it doesn't have to be a well known property either. One of my personal dreams is to see the Sword of Truth books from Terry Goodkind turned into a line of statues and busts.

I would like to see YOU turned into a statue. So I could ship YOU, to YOU, so you would have a big chance of arriving broke to yourself, with all the luck that you have! :eplus2:

Seriously, many things I would like to see. CM it's coming with an Indy, though, one of my most wanted also. Would like to see more movie related things, like Taxi Driver, The Crow, Blade Runner, Godfather and so on.

I would love to see Clay Moore turn Luis Rojo's breathtaking paintings into stunning sculptures.......

While these were probably done in some fashion at some point, I would also love to see the Brothers Grimm characters done really well in statue or bust format. There's a wealth of creativity to explore there too.

TSR- Forgotten Realms and Dragonlance...that would be some stunning work...maybe based off of Larry Elmore's, Douglas Nile's, Dan Parkinson's and Clyde Cladwell's artwork (especially Elmore's)

also Terry Brooks works, his Shannara and his Landover Novels

(whatever happened to Shannara being made into a Movie? Anyone?)

Good quality Peanuts busts are probably the only other things that would tempt me. It's amazing no-one has done them yet, like the Muppets and Simpsons ones. Indiana Jones is at the top of the list for sure! I think the D&D characters is a cash crop waiting to be done. Like Pogo and the others, pieces off of Salvatore's books would be awesome! But let's not leave out the other D&D books! There could be some great Ravenloft stuff!

With the new movie coming out, you'd think someone would have picked up an Underworld license other than Factory X doing weapon props. Kate Beckinsale!

Comic wise, I'd love more Hellboy busts and Sin City busts that are based on the comics. Even if they're interpretations like Bowen's Hellboy/Sapien stuff. And my guilty pleasure would have to be a line of Spawn busts. I think that could be a cool line too.

How about the Robert Jordan Wheel of Time books? Those would be cool!

Forget busts. I want a line of FS! There are SO many GREAT characters, SO much depth. This is the BEST fantasy series ever, IMHO, other than -- possibly -- LOTR. The line of first rank characters is incredible. Off the top of my head I'd want:

Ned Stark with Ice
Arya Stark
Robb Stark
Jon Snow with Claw
Jaime Lannister
Cersei Lannister
The Dragonknight
The Knight of Flowers
The Red Viper of Dorne
The Hound
The Sword of the Morning
Daenerys

I'm seriously thinking of a few commission pieces from this series. Any sculptors interested?

Another great series with the potential for many scuplts is Wildcards. Read that series and see where Stracynszcki got the inspiration for Rising Stars.
