Randy Bowen said it himself in his geekspeak interview: "This forum is like crack," or something like that.

Ghah! I have to get off this damn thing and work. Does my employer pay me to keep piping in here?

Danny, do you offer a twelve-step program? Shouldn't there be adds on here like the alcohol companies produce about the dangers of drinking and driving?

I'm on for 8 hours at work, then an hour or so when I get home from work, take a few hour dinner/TV break, then get right back on 'til midnite every day. Holidays too! And even sometimes there's nothing interesting to read/look at. I just sit there clicking on new posts waiting for something new to read/chime in on.

Somebody please help me! :banghead:

Enjoy the weekend and tell your friends! Oh, let's be honest - if some of you had friends, you wouldn't spend so much time here. I kid, I kid! :)

I'm on here all the time at work...I don't feel bad since my co-worker is playing computer games most of the day and only doing about 2 hours of actual work. I at least do 6 or 7. The only problem is that shes the bosses daughter...so it'd be my a@! getting fired and not hers....but I guess that's what I get for not being part of the fam in a family owned business!

Hmmm, this is kind of sad and exciting all at the same time. Good thing the mods are here, that way at least someone is doing something productive. B/c nobody else is.

Yeah, I would have to say it is addicting, when you discuss the forum members and or theads several times a day. When you return home from work, with a list of things to do, and the top of the list is... check forum... When you can only tear yourself away from the PC long enough to grap something to drink and use the facilities....all the while praying outloud that you don't miss something.

Yelling into the other room (to your spouse/partner) OMG your not gonna believe this.....come look at this picture.....I have to show you something. The best one is this. Laughing outloud (really loud) to gain the attention of others in the house to hear/see a response to a post that you are ultimately proud of.......(often not recieved well by the viewer/listener).

Addicted........Definately! LOL

It would be interested to keep track of most threads accessed or time actively logged in - that would tell the true addicts. Posts are often just a "ditto" or
