I think the only thing german about the place is some of the beer. The food is pretty straight-forward fare. Could be good & fun though.

Yeah, JC Penny closed and they put in theaters, a Borders and a bunch of restaurants. Also a parking garage. As if they needed a reason to make more congestion in that area.
