heroes world convention....distance from Kitty hawk?

hey...im going to at the outerbanks for vacation right around the time of the Heroes World convention in Charlotte NC...any chance anyone knows how far chralotte is from Kitty hawk and if its worth the trip? It says 6 hr. on mapquest...im hoping its way wrong..doesnt look good....

Art Adams will be attending this show....also are there any good comic shops in this area of the Outerbanks?

6 hours sounds about right.

There is just one in Kitty Hawk. I forgot the name, but it is in the phonebook there under comics. It is lame. It's in a shopping center on the main drag (Croatan Hwy) at about MP 17. What's lame about them is they mark up BD FS's, thinking that someone on vacation is going to pay that high price while on vacation. :banghead:
