Hulk looks great!

I think these might be plastic and intended for regular toy stores or something. What does FOB $16 mean? Hulk does look good. Spiderman and Thor look awful. Wolvie has one arm. Goblin, not bad.

Oh and Cap looks awful and Doom ... blah. I think these are cheapies intended for Walmart. Might not be a bad strategy. They can't possibly expect to compete with Bowen or SS with a line like this.

Yeah, they could be micros. They're beside the mini head busts. Those are about 5" or so tall.

Thor looks terrible. They all look pretty bad to me. Hulk isn't that bad but still not good.

The one arm Wolvie is about the worst idea yet. I say either two arms or none. But don't half @$$ it.

The "suggested" price on these is $22.50 which I'm sure is cost to retailers...so $45 retail price.

Hell yeah what's up with that? I thought that might have been a mess up but that's just bad. I like Hulk, Thor and Cap but they look too small anyways.

If the FOB is $16 that is going to be the retailer cost.

Suggested price is usually the retailers "MSRP" cost.

I wouldn't expect them to compete and I doubt DST does either. They are also different than the busts they currently make. It looks like they are trying to reach a completely different market if they are going to retail for around $20.

Why have Wolverine with one arm? The claws arent even out on the one arm that he has.

You have got to be kiddin' me. I wouldn't give 'em a dollar and a quarter for the lot of them. How can they possibly look at what BD is putting out and then release a line like this at the same price point?

These things cannot be "real" busts...please Jesus tell me I'm right.

They are ghastly plain and simple. They must be meant to compete with Bust-Ups.

There is simply no fine detail...and they are listed under "Marvel Icons", not "Marvel Busts". I hope I'm right.

Thor's wings look ridiculous, Wolverine's claws are wavy, etc. Not a good showing at all.

Now.. The Green Goblin is a great looking bust... and the Cap is not so bad... out of the whole lots... those would be the only two I would purchase if I was purchasing these... Actually.. the Green Goblin looks pretty good... I dont think we should trash on it just because it is DST...

I don't think any of us are trashing them cause they're DST. We're trashing them cause they look like crap! Hulk is ok, but the others? crap!

Yes they are but there should be 2 arms that just dumb...
Still not bad for the price...

The Hulk is the best of the lot.
The rest don't do anything for me.

Just got word they are resin busts, MSRP for most is $40 and $50 for Hulk...

Daredevil

For $40-$50 bucks I would stick with BD busts..

Thanks Azog.

I like DST products, but I'm not getting these without some serious QA and retooling. DST is better than this so I'm hoping they were rushed for these pics now that I know they are real resin busts.

there is something really wrong with Spidey. his torso is to wide for the neck shoulders area.

man I have to say that the best one there is the green goblin, the others looks off for several reasons. Capt's face looks funny, the hulk is okay, spiderman looks stiff, thor- you dont want to go there and the wolverine, if it had 2 arms I would likely pick up

FOB stands for "Free On Board." it means that this is the production cost of the item before being delivered. in trade terms, the word "free" means the seller has an obligation to deliver goods to a named place for transfer to a carrier. rules change a little with international transportation, but usually means that distributor, in this case DST, will have to pay $16 per piece, plus the frieght. judging by that, 34.95-39.95 seems like the price-points they're aiming at. relatively cheap.

I saw these at WWLA this past weekend.
First impression is that they were really small...smaller than Bowen and more in scale with the new Women of the DC Universe busts. The bases on these made me think they would make good chess pieces!
Green Goblin was definitely the best of the lot...a really good sculpt.
Spider-Man was good and detailed but just tiny.
The rest were horrible...especially Thor and Hulk.
WAAAY overpriced for the size and quality...these should be priced in the $30-$35 range at best.
