Odd choice for a Rogue variant.

I would've much preferred that She-Hulk over the one I got. She doesn't look very "savage" tho- maybe should've changed her hair and face a bit.

And what's up with Rogue in the Daisy Dukes?

Hmmm, I've been getting all the Premier Collection women statues but I'm not 100% convinced on these. Why choose Picnic Rogue over one of her other costumes? Seems very odd to me. Also, I would have preferred to see She-Hulk in her modern costume over the Savage She-Hulk, especially since (like someone else pointed out) she doesn't look particularly savage.

The savage She-Hulk should have been sculpted with a different expression but I'll be picking her up anyways. Not convinced on either DST Rogue. Will decided when I have the statues in front of me.

Yeah, overall the She-Hulk looks nice, but I wish they'd at least change the facial expression and the hair. She looks awfully placid for being "savage". I'm still not sure how I feel about hootchie-mama Rogue.

I don't quite know what to make of these. The regular Rogue sculpt is actually cool, but am waiting for Bowen's. I have no idea what market they see for Daisy there. I wasnt crazy about the regular She-Hulk and am again waiting for Randy. I know people like that one though. I would expect a savage version to look more "savage" (i.e. out of control), not flexing her biceps. Although it does look kinda nice.

What I do like about the Savage She-Hulk is the base. They've takenb the original base from the FF She-Hulk statue and made it all battle damaged. Nice touch. :)

Don't care for either of these.

Rogue is too over the top. I prefer the SH already released...never was much on the Savage Land and the like.

Isn't the Picnic Rogue based on how she looked in an early issue of X-Men when Jim lee was still there. I think it might be issue #4.

Thats a statue overkill.

Why does DST not try someyhing else, they do release bust and statues no one else does like the X-23 bust and Wolverine Weapon X statue, why dont DST take some more chances and make X-Force or X-Factor bust and statues?

I would be cool with a Strong Guy fs.

elocon
02-15-2006, 03:01 PM
It does seem like overkill, but aren't a lot of the characters produced like Hawkeye and Dr. Strange done because they are suppose to have pretty big roles in upcoming comics this year, and Marvel and the Statue producing companies want to capitalize on that. That's just my assumption.

DST could make a fs Blob and fs Gladiator.

The do release much of the same as Bowen with not so good results.

I must say when they take chances, they take chances.

Its enough to make you wanna pull yer nose hairs out!!!!!!!!

Wolvie, Hulk and Spidey are all core characters but how many times are they gonna keep doing variations of them.

I would love to see DST's take on the Inhumans! X-Force would be cool as well.

Why is that? It's from a scene straight out of a comic. I think that's cool. It would be one thing if they just slapped her in a sexy outfit she has never worn, but...

I think it is a beautiful statue, and for around $100 you can't beat it.
Well, now you can I guess, because I like the savage version a bit better,
but they'll look very good together - one on either side of She-Dragon.

It'll be a green girl triple play! :buttrock: :eplus2:
