View Full Version : Do Marvel Legends cases always give you at least one of each figure?

Fellow ML addicts...

As my life without the new Marvel Legends Wal-Mart exclusive "build-it" Giant-Man would be utterly devoid of meaning (and figures of Ant-Man, Warbird, a much better Thor, and the Sentry are nice bonuses)... I did the unthinkable and ordered a case from Wizard. (Basically the same price as ToyWiz's 9-figure set, plus 10 bucks... and I can cut the cost by auctioning off the extra figures.)

Why unthinkable? Just imagine the shipping on that case out to where I live, in Guam...

Anyway, after doing the deed, I started wondering... is it definite that every ML case contains at least one of each figure in the wave? In a rational world, it would be... but I've never bought a case before, so I thought I'd better check.

Any chance I'll be shorted a figure (and get three of somebody else, as the booby prize), and therefore, be short a piece of Giant-Man's anatomy? :banghead:

Thanks for letting me know...

There is no assurance of what is in the box.... However that really applies to exclusives. Every box I have ever seen has the same assortment. You will probably get 3 Wolverines, 2 Sabertooth, 1 Warbird, 1, Shadowcat 1, Antman... Who else is in it anyways... You should get one of each. But there looks like there will be more characters than Antman parts. Remember Mystique, and was it Omega Red had the same part, or was it Black Panter anyways this may accur again. So I'm sure you will get all the parts but if say Ms. Marvel has a duplicate part you may not get her but get Kitty Pryde instead.

I just checked there are 9 characters. So it may be one of each and 3 wolverines and 2 Sabertooth. Or you may not get every character but I'm sure you will get all the parts because there are only 6 to Giant Man so 3 will have dupes. :banghead:

Marvel legends cases always, always have at least one complete set, I ordered cases for series 8,9, and 10, so I know. But since you ordered from Wizard be weary that they might open the case for the variants. Tower sold cases for cheap of figures and people reported that they were opened and sometimes were completely missing a certain figure. Figure Cases no matter what company always contain a complete set, unless stated otherwise.

THANKS!! I feel better now.

There was a nightmare scenario involved... Since Wizard apparently only ships UPS (and that costs an arm and a leg, to Guam... UPS treats us like a foreign destination), I'm having the case shipped to a friend who will then send it my way by US surface mail. I didn't even want to think about how many synapses I'd fry if I waited the 6-8 weeks for the case to get out here, then opened it to find I was still short three figures... with eBay prices on same going insane in the meantime.
