This is the negative stuff first.
I'm sure you've all read my complaints about the X3 posters already.
Can you believe they never once showed an X3 preview.
I'm still can't figure that one out.
Must be a deal with DC, Warner Brothers, and Byran Singer. :thumbsdow
Joseph Gordon-Levitt (3rd Rock from the Sun) was a no show.
Several artist did not show.
Later learned that some were not on the brocure, yet still listed on the site. :banghead:
Two Disney trailers were said Sunday to have been burned badly, yet they were shown Saturday.
Perhaps different hosts, but I doubt it.
Wife said she didn't care much for Frank Cho. Marvelboi's friend basically said the same thing (MB POSTed in another thread, where I mentioned Mike Allred).
WonderCon made it sound like on their site that the "Hollywood" stuff was going to be bigger. It was not.
Tickets for celebrity autos were not announced anywere.
Changes were not announced as well as they could have been.
Bottom line, very unorganized for experienced professionals.
What we (TatS and I) would have called the Best con we've attended has been tainted with an increase of negative BS.
So I'd rate this one as being equal overall to last years.
Will we attend next year? Depends on the guest list, mostly artists and actors.
Tune in later for Part 2 - The Positive stuff.
