Just picked up the new Superboy / Krypto statue yesterday along with my books, really nice piece, fits in really well with the Supergirl Arrival and Departure from Krypton.

btw: how's the paint on the face look? it doesn't look that good from the pic.

It's not that great, very monochromaic, no shading at all. I think they were going for the old Kurt Swan look.

Is this statue a similar scale with Bowen full size statues? I read that it is only 5” high.

That's one of DCD's biggest problems, thier stuff isn't even in scale with itself. :banghead:

No, released in 2004.

I was curious because I recently purchased the Krypto DVD for my son and he likes it. I searched ebay for Krypto statues and saw this. I like the statue but if it is a smaller scale than my other fullsize statues and busts I will pass.

I have it and I like it, then again I got a good deal for it because Krypto's cape had broken off (which was very easy to fix). I love Krypto, and would like to see more non-cartoon Krypto and Ace the Bathound stuff.
