Hey.... This thread is to try and raise support for some action figures of the Hanna Barbera Superheroes of 1966 & 1967, namely:

Galaxy Trio : (Meteor Man, Gravity Girl, Vapor Man) Been waiting for thirty years for action figures and maquettes of these guys!!!! :banghead:

Herculoids

Space Ghost

Mighty Mightor

Samson & Goliath

Jonny Quest (Not superheroes, but still fits in this category, IMO)

Birdman

Shazzan

And the funny Heroes:

The Impossibles

Frankenstein Jr.

Moby ****

Atom Ant

Secret Squirrel

Okay, so there you have it! Now, granted...some of these have been made as action figures before, (Space Ghost, Herculoids, Birdman). But, we need Galaxy Trio, Mighty Mightor, Samson & Goliath, Shazzan, Impossibles, Frankenstein Jr., Moby ****, Atom Ant and Secret Squirrel to finish a line of action figures of these classic iconic characters from the past. Please go to SPAWN.COM, and let you voice be heard!!! McFarlane Toys has the license to make any and all of these characters, and it's WAAAAAYYYYYYY past time that this type of line of figures should be made of these classic characters! :banghead:

I used to buy stuff from McFarlanes Brother in law, I bet he has some pull.....I will have to look him up......LOL! I don't really have a list. I only know a few, my HB days were so long ago, it's all a blurrr. :rolleyes2

COOL! Yeah...Would you please contact him, and see if he can talk Todd into making the Galaxy Trio as maquette/statues, and action figures?....PLEASE??? Sorry, like I said, I've waited for about thirty years for animation maquettes of these characters! Tony Cipriano sculpted Space Ghost as an animation maquette a few years ago, and he has a Mightor maquette all sculpted and just waiting to be produced! He has also told me that he would love to sculpt Galaxy Trio, Herculoids, and all the rest, so all Todd McFarlane would need to do is hire him to sculpt all these great characters, and the line would be awesome!!!.....Pheew.....I'm just excited by the prospects.... :)

I love all the 'funny heroes'. Plus Wally Gator and Touche Turtle. I'm sure we'll have to wade thru the common Yogi and Boo Boo stuff before the cooler, lesser known cartoons get done.

i still say there is no reason for Herculoids or Thundarr figures http://toynami.com/herculoids.html toynami did such an awesome job on both the series' i see no need, they also did some great Birdman and Blue Falcon ones too. but i'm on board for your other suggestions, my HB wishlist is Secret Squirrel & Morocco Mole, Top Cat & his gang, Magilla Gorilla, Tuche Turtle, Richochet Rabbit, Grape Ape box set, Frankenstein Jr. Box:D

Yeah....I agree with you on that. Toynami's Herculoids are absolutely spot on!!!!!! :thumbs2: That's what I'm hoping we'll get with Galaxy Trio from McFarlane, AND...I hope so much that we get to see maquettes of Galaxy Trio and Herculoids as I mentioned. :) I also like your other suggerstions on your wishlist! I'd get those as well!

Oh for crying out loud, the profanity filters are silly sometimes. You cant type the name of a classic Melville novel now? Moby ****

sadly it looks like nobody out of all the tens of thousands of people there took any damn pics of them :banghead: i didn't have a camera so i guess i'm to blame as well, i really really wish i did though because they were pretty much the highlight of the show for me, i've been waiting awhile to see them and to see them and have them exceed my expectations was just awesome

the 3 they had on display were

Quickdraw: He was dressed as El Kabong in mid air smashing his guitar over the head of a generic baddie who was being driven into the ground like a railroad spike with Babalooey watching off to the side (my favorite of the bunch)

Tom & Jerry: Tom was reaching his hand into Jerrys mouse hole the hole was packed full of dynamite and other such cartoon mouse catching tools and Jerry was slamming Toms hand into a mousetrap

Hong Kong Phooey: HK was in mid air via a clear pole about to do a phooey chop on a bank robber (generic crimianl wih striped prison shirt and mask) while spot was off to the side looking on
(HK is the only one i've been able to track down a pic of)

That picture just wet my appetite for these even more. I didn't realize they would be diorama type. No need to worry about keeping these in the packages.

I think they were done by "Terrytoons". I could be wrong, but I think that's who it was. If I'm not mistaken, Ralph Bakshi was involved with the Mighty Heroes on some level. I have an old video tape of them, and I'll try to look that up. They were pretty funny stuff, and the humor was generally a little more clever than most of the HB stuff....

These toys look awesome. Usaully i just pick and choose which figures i get from each set of spawn figures, but with these ones, it looks like im going to have to get them all.

Now if we can just get some sneaks for the first wave of the simpsons toys.
