That my Boy and our Man D Rod gave Clay his own little section?

I figured we could kick it off by sharing our favorite Clay piece and why.

Mine would have to be His first Witchblade statue...

The man is so talented that this had to be purchased and displayed despite the fact that at the time I was like who the hell is witchblade?

I hope we can get Clay in here more often and I am very excited that Moore has it's own section as he is one of the very finiest talents in this business...

My favorite Moore piece that I have would be the 1st Witchblade statue. It's what actually got me started into collecting statues.

My favorite piece of his that I DON'T have would be the 1st Lady Death statue. I just really like that piece and have never found it at the right price at the right time. 1 of my holy grails I guess.

I'm really looking forward to the Aphrodite IX artist proof edition too. I missed out on the 1st one.

Yay for Clay having his own little section now! Congrats to a great artist!

my first 3 statues were gifts. bowen supes and batman and clay's original witchblade. ever since then... no looking back.
i would have to say that A IX is one of the best statues to display backwards. clay can make ugly look beautiful.

I love the EMMA FROST he did. It might actually be the 1st time I've bought both editions of the same character. I also have his WITCHBLADE statue and am looking to pick up the SAVAGE DRAGON bust. :)

Frazetta Princess statue with his Mary Jane Watson bust a close second. Both just do a fabulous job bringing the original art life. I'd like to add his Barbarian statue to the collection one day.

Glad to see Moore has his own section now!

Picking my favorite sculpt is a toughie, but it would probably be the DF Wolverine (sewer diorama) or the White Queen (classic).

Moore has a way of sculpting women at their most beautiful. I bet he can even make Aunt May look hot.

You and me both buddy. The DST one is SOOOOOO disapointing and the Bowen one may suffice, but it aint Clay Moore, and I can only imagine how great she would have looked.

At least I can custoimze the she dragon to be she hulk.

Wonder why that deal fell through. Wasn't he also marked to do the She-Hulk?

As I recall from the old Moore Creations website, the page for the DST deal showed pictures of Black Cat, Emma Frost, Rogue, and She-Hulk as Clay's scheduled projects.

The page for the Dynamic Forces deal showed the covers of Uncanny X-Men #233 (Wolverine in the sewer), Silver Surfer #4 (Surfer vs. Thor), and Uncanny X-Men # 173 (wedding of Wolverine and Mariko).

As part of the dissolution of Moore Creations, Diamond acquired "selected assets and liabilites" of MC, which included the Buffy license, undistributed inventory, and Clay's sculpting services for several projects. Perhaps the release of multiple versions of the 3 pieces he did for them (Black Cat, Emma, Spidey) provided a loophole that fulfilled his contractual obligation without his having to additionally do Rogue and She-Hulk for DST.
