Moore Statue Club

Just got off the phone with Clay. As of this moment, we are doing a Moore statue club. That means that all that buy each piece that comes out, you will receive the same number every time. The number you receive will be above #51 (#50 is mine!!!!)

So, that means that means that if you preordered one today, you automatically qualify. Now, if you decide that you do not want the following piece, no problem, it will go to someone else. It works like the forum exclusives.

1- Go to She Dragon (http://comicstatues.com/moore_studio.html) and place your order

2- Include your forum ID when you place it

3- A specific number will be secured for you

4- If you wish not to get the next forum club piece, we will try to sell yours last or someone that doesn't care about a number. But, your number cannot be guaranteed for future pieces

5- Future pieces might be AP series or regular series. This will be on a statue case by case scenario.

6- Some pieces might give the opportunity to purchase your club number but will not be mandatory.

7- This is not for a forum exclusive. If Moore Studio and Statue Forum create an exclusive though, Moore Statue Club Members automatically get first dibs on the exclusive statue.

8- Discount is applied as free shipping for usa/canada and also 10% already off MSRP. do note that it does take a lot of time and work to get these numbers together here and make sure that a specific person gets a specific number.

9- If you want it signed by Clay Moore, you will have to ship it to his studio with return shipping postage paid and he will sign it free of charge.

actually, forum exclusives is a subject that clay and i have been talking about. when i said similar, i meant in the way you can get the same number every time just like the forum exclusives. this is not an exclusive, this is for his regular series.

i can probably get some signed but moore would have to charge something. not exactly because of the signing but more because of the work. to sign a piece, he has to pull a specific number, open it, sign it, wait for it to dry. rebox and then ship. i can't expect him or anyone to do that for free since it is time consuming. note that if you do want the pieces signed, i would purchase them directly since he is doing that there. or, just can go to a con and get them signed let's say if he shows up at chicago and has a signing on the statue forum booth!

Actually, that's an interesting question. If you get on board now and order She-Dragon and get #75 (just an example), but then decide to skip Brandy, will #75 of the AP Aphrodite (assuming they're available) be reserved for you or will you have lost it because you skipped a statue?

yup, that's it. before they are released, i'll send everyone their number. you can then have that number for future pieces. if you do decide not to buy a following piece, we will try to sell that number last but if we sell out, we cannot guarantee that the new buyer will not want to keep that number.

I don't think she will be different at all... The base will be as well as other minor touches Clay likes to throw in but Aphrodite herself... same pose same piece...

I mean it's well known that "other companies" release "repaints", "resculpts" and "revisits" for other major characters.... and I don't hear any complaining. :rolleyes2

yea, one thing about hammering producers about AP's or resculpts. Major companies such as GG, Sideshow and Bowen make many similiar pieces, repaints and same character a ton of times so if the fans don't cry to them, they shouldn't cry to the rest.

Just saw this piece at my LCS (very nice if different from what I usually buy)and put a deposit down, but if the club is offering I can move my deposit to another statue.

Invincible is an option for a club number. In other words, if you don't get it, you won't loose your number. The Witchblade will be a club piece. In this case, if you don't get one and I sell out, you can loose your number. As far as the AP's are concerned, Clay will try to match club numbers if they happen to be purchased by a club member. But, I will not be receiving the same amount (AP's) as regular ones. AP's are to be pretty much sold direct so any pieces that Clay sells via Comic Statues is more as a way to get some of the forum members that might have missed out directly a second chance.

I raise this question with some trepidation, but was the situation with the Aphrodite AP a failure on the part of the organization of the Moore Club.

I know for myself, one of the chief reasons for joining (and I realize joining did not cost me anything) was to insure getting the high demand items like the Aphrodite IX.

D Rod never said that the APs would be offered by the Club but I had expected it to have been. In fact, I hesitated to order the statue direct because I was confident in the fact that it would be offered through the club.

Its good to know a little ahead of time, like we know now with the Invincible and Witchblade, so we don't miss out on future pieces.

Moore only sent me the first half. That means that the second half has not received theirs yet. If you have not received yours, you are either international first half or second half buyers.

The club was originally done for the regular series, not exclusives. Since the regular series club numbers are going to be higher than the exclusives, I would imagine that some of you might want to trade down for exclusives. I have had some members ask me if they can keep their number, regardless. Let's say that your She Dragon is number 75 but you have the ability to get number 30 for the exclusive. You can either get #75 to keep all your Moore statues the same or just get the exclusive #30 and the regulars the higher number. It will be your option as to which one you want.

If you purchased one of the She-Dragons from ComicStatues then I would Contact Danny (d rod) by email or PM, as he is the only one that can answer that queston for you.

C.S. Moore site is a friend of the forums, Clay being the great guy he is, supports the forum by offering these great exclusives to us and without his support the Club wouldnt be possible, Its a Rare thing to have the option of getting the same number.

1- International shipping will now be from San Diego, not Miami. I am shipping all of the inventory in Miami to San Diego and then they will ship it out. Sadly, this gives another 2-3 week delay (it takes that long to arrive from Miami).

I will no longer do international out of Miami. It takes way too long. It takes me about 3 hours every time I go to the post office and I just can't do that. I tried hiring someone to do it but that didn't go to well. So now I have a company that will actually do the work and they charge $10 per box shipped. It's more expensive but at least they will ship it out weekly. I have been dealing with the international shipping situation for way too long and this seems to be my only solution that won't kill the rest of my work. The delays to ship is something that's way out of control and it's killing me. So that should fix that.

2- Invincible statue is now going to be in stock. Anyone wanting to match their Club number on this piece, let me know. If you read the comic, you will be hooked and look forward to the statue. I haven't read comics since Superman died and within the last couple of months, I've read Walking Dead, Civil War and Invincible. All are great reads.

Do I have to order the She Dragon Statue?

You can though obtain same numbered pieces beginning with Invincible and followed by Witchblade. Invincible is not a club piece but I can match the numbers.
