Sculpting in Apoxie isn't hard. It's time consuming. This piece here was actually done in both Apoxie and Super Sculpey. The reason? Deadline, and I wanted to be able to add or subtract the arms as I went.

Are you trying to throw the hint of a recasted arm? :peoples: I think that would take longer and be hard to fit than sculpting a new one.....

With the base it is 7" tall. Rick didn't pay me $7,000.00 for it. But... He didn't get it on the cheap. Just so you understand, Rick is a friend of mine. You don't charge your friends the same rate.

There's a big difference between the Karnak arms, and the one I sculpted for this piece. For one, the hands. Mine is canted up, Karnak's is not. My arm is a little bulkier, and the definition is different.

To the morons :redface: i think there is a misunderstanding... when I saw your sculpture I found a resemblance with "Spiderman On The Building". I didn't compare both because it's not my problem. You said to me that it was a creation at 100% and I trusted you, i don't need proof!

I can understand that my question is wounded you and i apologize to you for this. But "morons" isn't the good word... too aggressive ;)

Thanks for the kudos. When I get some time to do a REAL paintjob on the bust I'll post those pics instead. I had so many people asking for a painted pic that I rushed through this one.

The issue here is not whether I can paint worth a damn, it's more whether or not people will wait an extra day for a kick ass paint job.

Just want to make it known to all concerned that after owning a few of Tommy's painted sculpts the dude is not only a EXTREMELY talented sculptor but he also does kickass paint-ups.
