light up chrome gr :)
Nice ghoastRider, No I don't worry to much about the hologen, the light has three stting on a dimmer, I typacally will keep the light on the dimmest of settings because I don't want to risk damaging the paint, I just put the light on it's brightest to shoot the pic's.
I also think that ur getting the reflection of the mirror the light is actually alot higher than it looks,

I'm looking for someone who has their Bowen FS in a case, separated from mini-busts & other statues. I'm trying to get ideas. I know I want them in a wood and glass case, but don't like the idea of some near the floor, where they could get damaged. Anybody have something in wood & glass and goes across the wall at eye level?
Thanks
Al

Detolf : Max load/shelf: 13 lbs
Judging by this pic, there's no room for another statue. Could someone confirm ?

but if some space is available can we display another statue with it? or is it too heavy for the shelf?

How about this display? I have 8 of these cabinets lined up in a row and are wall mounted off the ground. I also like displaying my FS separate from my busts. I think it gives the collection a cleaner clutter-free look.

I intend to put on the same shelf Dr strange and Magneto...
is it too heavy?
sorry but pounds and lbs don't mean a lot to me because I'm used to kg...
Sorry

SorryOk ... so to sum it up :
- Detolf can support 6 kg
- Dr Strange is about 5 kg
- Magneto must be about the 3,5-4 kg. So I think it's a big NO for the weight issue.
- And even if it wasn't a weight problem, there isn't enough space on a Detolf shelf for both statues. Or you'll end up with something like this, which is a lame display that doesn't do any justice to the Dr Strange cape work.

Any other comment or info provided by one of you Bowen nuts ;) is very welcomed.

All I have is this old picture. Since this room is small, I can't get a picture of all the cabinets from across the room. I'm working on a photo album of my entire collection, and I'll post it once it's complete.

These are the Ikea Bertby cabinets. I haven't been to an Ikea store in about 2 years, but I think someone posted that these were discountinued. I don't know if that's true or not, but it's worth checking out, because they weren't too expensive. I bought these for about $60 each, but the lighted Bertby's costs around $100 each.

Are these sturdy enough to hold a Juggernaut or Hulk statue on the glass shelves?

Are these sturdy enough to hold a Juggernaut or Hulk statue on the glass shelves?Don't think so :
http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=12&langId=-1&catalogId=10103&productId=60979
Width: 42 cm
Depth: 19 cm
Height: 170 cm
Max load/shelf: 3 kg
Width: 16 1/2 "
Depth: 7 1/2 "
Height: 66 7/8 "
Max load/shelf: 7 lb
hulk & juggy weigh almost 3 times that

Ive read the specs and I've tested the shelves. The cabinets can support the weight, but the cabinets are too small for statues with large bases like the ones you mentioned.
