PS3 preorders?

Anyone work for retailers like EBgames and Gamestop? Ive heard it may be Sept or Oct before they accept preorders......

I heard NO preorder at all because the PS3 will be released in smaller quantities then the xbox 360 was. At least this was the word from Game Stop.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! They better offer a pre-order, I dont want to have to wait in line for 12 hours to get one.

In the UK gamestation have said they have closed the pre-order list(not sure how seeing as nowhere else has one)
Currys,game and Comet are still waiting for details to be confirmerd and Dixons said they should be listing it in a few days but that was over a week ago
