question: i made a chain for the sculpt and i was wondering what would be a quick and easy way to make it rusty? it has a silver look to it, so i'm afraid it might not rust at all.
this is the one i used:http://www.hobbyhandboek.nl/detail.asp?cat=E1&subcat=E35&id=02182

If it is not stainless steel you can rust it by soaking it in vinegar for about 1 hour and then rinse it in a warm solution of water and salt. It sould rust overnight. Getting it damp like wiping it every so often with a sponge after that will make it rust more. If you want to simulate rust...Krylon makes a product called Make it rust, that is close to a rusty look. Good luck!
