I was so tempted to buy the PPV. I got spoiled in the good ol' hot box days. :bawling: I can't afford all these boxing, wrestling and UFC PPV's. :banghead:

You and me both General! I have enough hobby stuff to worry about without the PPV. Hopefully someone took the plunge.

Well, looking at Tito's website it appears that he ben Shamrock with elbows in the first round.

I know of a site that streams it live and they keep repeating it for awhile. Not great quality and quite some quirks when lots are online (loss connection/skips) but usually you should see it all for now, I had posted the link earlier but didnot realize it shouldnot be posted on public forums, so I removed it, still pm me if interested.

Just a couple though my box has only room for 2/3, lol.

ken came out swinging and then ortiz threw him to the mat and hit hime with about 4 or 5 nice elbows and then they stopped the fight....it was pretty stupid but in all honesty i think shamrock was going to get rocked anyway....
the silvia and arlovski fight was borrrrrrrrring....it was basically a boxing match with 2 guys who respected each other and neither would take any risks...sylvia won the decision but it was close...no real fireworks in that one either....blah...glad i didnt pay for it, i watched it at a neighbors house....i bet him $20 on ortiz but he wouldnt pay up,that bastardo! he said i would have to fight him for it after the way they ended the fight.....

i don't know ufc has been at a down fall for a few years, it's defenetly getting more attention now but there is no REAL good talent on, all the people that are getting up are the people that belong to someone's camp.

there are some good guys out there with future that are not getting in, they're giving their upcoming fighters tv fame before they develop into what they should be at that level, there are much MUCH better guys out there than on that show.

UFC has changed a bit over the last few years. I enjoyed the older fights a bit more. Good times. :eplus2:

PRIDE is the way to go. the best athletes and the best all-around fighters. just ask Chris "big mouth" Leben. it's a shame they have government and yakuza troubles right now, and a lot of big guns are taking the ea$y road to K-1.

hopefully saku/rickson happens new years eve. at least 5 yrs too late, but better late, then never. oh yeah..and Silva takes Chuck. payback for getting jobbed versus tito all those years back.

Leben isn't big mouthed, he is misunderstood :rolleyes2
I kinda like when he gets beat, he cries and gets all emotional.
Yakuza troubles?? Sounds interesting at least, might have to check that out sometime.

so 'why does chuck have to be careful?' you ask, here's about 5 minutes worth of reasons:

gotta love those old bare-knuckle highlights.

Love the UFC... love PRIDE even more! This event was kind of a letdown. I'm sure the next few will pick up tho.
