These are not professionally photographed. I don't even have the work in hand as of yet. We are trying to make Comic Con with this. Sculpting: Shawn Nagle, paints: Joy Snyder. We were going to go a more faux bronze but I didn't like the result and decided to just follow J. Allen St. John's original art. I'm glad we did! Hope you enjoy the work.
Oh yeah... 1/8th scale Plans are to release early to mid 2007.

Looks great! I'm a sucker for anything Tarzan and will probably add this to my collection next year. Hopefully this will be available for viewing at SD Con.

We are doing our very best. I may have to drive across the state to pick it up but I plan for it to be there.

I think RAS needs its own section at this stage.

RE: The Silver Warrier and The Huntress
Cipriano and I were just talking about this the other day. We plan to be showing WIP's to Mr. Frazetta around Oct of this year so he'd better get started soon. Petryszak will also be coming along as he has his Frazetta babe to show. My understanding is Mike has already or is about to begin his piece. So everything is shaping up as far as I know.
The Egyptian Queen is having some refinements done in casting and will be going over to Rick Cantu soon. Our plans are to premier that piece at New York's Comic Con in Feb. '07. Of course we will have pics way before then or Chezzy will croak!

I've considered it. We definately won't have it one one in San Diego as time is just too short. We 'll do some measuring when it is in hand and see what we come up with.
great idea though and I appreciate your bringing it up.

Love the piece and I'd be happy to pick one of those up.
Always loved the Tarzan Stories.
Wow! That came out great. I'm a Tarzan fan but always felt St. John's Tarzan was too thin. Especially in that Golden Lion Painting. Mr. Nagle beefed him up just a tad but still has managed to be true to the source material. I'll vote yes with my wallet when this goes on sale. Looking forward to seeing it in SD.
Good Job Guys!

Michael,
I'm glad you like the way the paint job turned out. I think the piece as a whole is very stunning. I want to assure you, you will not have to drive all the way across the state. I will meet you in Lakeland on Monday if need be.
Joshua
P.S. After you show some of these pieces in SD I'm sure you will not be thinking small potatoes anymore... neither will Statueforum:)
