comicboy, you got that right. I'm putting together a nice little LOTR collection. Once I catch up and have the pieces that are available at a "reasonable" price I will see what I can do about the really hard to find pieces. Those I may have to do without. I have been and will be selling a lot of things I have collected over the years in order to help pay for this.

Zurb, where are you going to display all those SS LOTR busts/statues?

It's going to be tough but I've got a plan. I've already got a few of the pieces out and around the house. One of my two Bertby's right is dedicated to LOTR busts. The problem with that is that many of these busts are big and don't really fit in well with the Bertby. After the beginning of the year I am going to do a major overhaul of my home office. It's not that big of a room but the way it is set up right now I am wasting a lot of the space. I've got this huge desk taking up most of the room. I'm going to do a major downsize of the desk. This should open up one whole wall on which I am planning to set up the big Billy bookcases from IKEA. I'll get glass shelves and doors and add some lights. I should be able to get all my LOTR pieces into these. I'd love to get a couple of those displays that Silverageguy has but they're just too damn expensive for me right now.

I'll likely follow Zurb's lead on this. While I don't have as many pieces as he does, I definitely need to redo the space I have.

Rick, maybe not, but it's never about quantity. It's quality. And I'm sure you got me there. Just got an email from Sideshow apologising to me as the mistakenly sent me an email whereby I could order the Uriki Captain from their US warehouse. Now they tell me it was American Customers only and that they cannot fullfill my order. I am gutted as this was one piece that I wanted (being a completest on the Orc Statues).

Bullseye, go on eBay. There are more than a few out there. Many with BUy It Nows under $200. Even with the higher shipping charges you should make out fairly well on the exchange rate.
