Hard Hero versus Bowen

I just started this thread over at the Bowen forum. Comparing quality of statues ( keeping thread superhero..marvel...related)?

I think it just comes down to personal preference. I collect both and if I had to give one up I wouldnt be able decide which one. Both rock. :buttrock:

Thank The Gods For More Than Just One Company. Just The Idea Of Being Able To Choose Is The Epitomy Of Parity. If One Company Doesn't Make A Particular Statue, The Other May Do So As In The Case Of Hercules. I've Been Waiting For So Long For A Hercules Statue By Mr. Bowen But Here Comes Hard Hero To Fill The Bill.

My thoughts exactly and I like the different poses, size and paint styles. Variety is the spice of life. The only complaint I have about Hard Hero is making me wait so long to order Iron Man!

Don't think there is a definitive answer, as they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. People like different things.

You're not going to get too many unbiased responses. Especially if you posted this in the BD forum. I don't care who puts out the statue, if it looks good to me, I'll get it. Take Iron Fist, I like both and will get both, would hate to have to choose, but if I did, it would be the HH version. I think it's one of the best character sculpts ever done. All of the sculptors doing the statues are very good, so I don't think that's a problem. I will say that the paint on some of the BD statues I have looks rushed and is sloppy, others are very well done. The HH statues I have are all painted very well.

I believe that HH's Captain America statue is the best statue I've ever seen. Now, the Bowen Cap is good, too. But, I just love the pose and detail that HH brings.

i really like the hh cap as well , but most poeple say its ugly and the pose is off. this proves that if you like it buy it no matter who makes it

Dynamism! All of their statues so far are in iconic poses. Its nice to hve them pose beside their comics though. Real cool!
