555/1500 just arrived to me this morning. This is perhaps my favourite Bowen piece of the entire year this far. Absolutely gorgeous. All of those who passed on her I can't help but feel sorry for you.

I agree as well. I always wondered why this piece didn't sell as well for me as the others. It's one of the nicest female pieces out of BD, if not the nicest.

It's a fantastic piece and Tony Cipriano did his usual bang up job on it. I too am puzzled as to why it has not gotten the raves it deserves. The mask is an awesome touch.

Nice pics! This is a great looking statue. I have every single Bowen statue except Elektra, and now this. I've been on the fence on this one, but looks like I'm not going to buy one. Non-costumed characters in full statue just doesn't do anything for me. Having said that, I think it doesn't get much attention because it's just a character in street clothes. Uninteresting to look at.

I agree that this is one of the best female sculpts in the line for sure. tony really gave her great thighs and rear. I think she looks as if she did at about 23 years old. so what was that say 20 plus years ago. lol

well she is a comic book character :)I understand that, but if you compare the face on this piece to the face on say the FS Scarlet Witch or the FS Phoenix, you might see what I mean.

I'm in the same boat. I saw this Sat at a LCS and I think it's absolutely beautiful! But I don't get a lot of the FS's. I will get a MB though.

As I said before, I was on the fence on this one. I kept going back to the pics and finally talked myself into purchasing it because it looked so sweet.

Then to think that I have not ordered some of the other bowen statues like Mysterio, Spiderwoman, and Hawkeye. Then I turn around and order this one.
I guess I just really liked the MJ statue.

As good as it is, I think the reason y not many ppl r interested in this is because she's technically not a hero and it doesn't help with Hulk, Hawkeye plus Venom on the way.

Btw, just show the pic to one of my girl friend who knows nothing about marvel and she says it looks like a barbie. Another reason y i don't collect female statue.

I'm getting one for me & one for my niece's 8th birthday in October. She saw me looking at Bowen's site & was FASCINATED by the MJ statue. She asked if I could get it for her. Warms your heart, doesn't it?

I had a problem with the face when it was previewed, but now that I have it in hand, I really think it came out great. She even looks good with the original Bowen Spider-Man, even if she is holding his mask.

I agree. I wasn't going to get this for that reason. It was only when the mask was added that it had a link into my collection and I ordered it.

It really is a beautiful piece. I think people will warm to it.

i was seriously not going to get this peice.....i kept thinking "WHY" but then i thought "ok so i want the lois lane statue......why not MJ?" but was still on the fence..

but the more i looked at it i liked it. so i got one for a decent price off of the bay. i couldn't be happier with it!!! it looks fricken awesome on it's own and next to spidey.
