The darker purple cape reflects the much more recent look of the Prowler
(based off his mini-series???).

His "iconic" or most recognizable look has seemed to be the much lighter
purple/grey-ish color:

I have no major opinion on this subject really. The dark purple is kinda cool, but the way it is now certainly doesn't offend me.

I think the paint job is fine. It's all a matter of opinion, of course...like everything else. The artist who designed the paint scheme is in charge, and if you want a different color, you can always repaint it. And when it comes to comics, characters will always have slight color and style variations because of the artistic license freedoms of the individual artists. Who wants everything to be the same anyway. That could be extremely stagnant and boring.

This, while actually a productive thread, may all be for nothing in the end. These are - as always - sneaks that may get changed. It just might end up being darker in the end.

I'm glad that there is 1 thing all of us who are getting this piece can disagree about and yet STILL like it enough to get it. :D

I like this one the way it is. I might buy 2 so that I can have a custom paint job for the darker purple thogh. Then I could have both versions, but I really don't see a need for BD to make them both.
