Actually, now that I think of it, the Chewy and C-3PO statues are from Gentle Giant.

The detail is great, but the face is off...and that's what keeps this from being a *must buy*.

Also, it's Han Solo...not Hans. Although, now that I look at it, it could be Han's Swedish twin.

However, I still prefer the Attakus version. Chewie and Han Attakus look GREAT together. Awesome poses.

Just preordered mine through the Sideshow Newsletter. Didn't really want to spend the extra $49 for the limited one (only 250 in the run, it has the Medal that they won at the end of Star Wars, and he's on a different base) but I figured what the hell...It looks nice, and I can't wait for Vader...

I think Andy Bergholtz did a good job on this one and the likeness is pretty much on. I didn't pick up the Luke and was going to pass on the Han waiting for DARTH. However, I ordered the exclusive. At only 250 pieces this might be a good one to have as an investment. This is the description that Sideshow has given:

Looks like the 250 piece version might already be sold out. I was checking tmy e-mail this morning and got the newsletter link, clicked on it and got nothing on the Yavin version but the regular edition link works.

yep, looks like it's already sold out. hmmm... i never got the sideshow email. ah well. i pre-ordered the regular version. exclusives are just that. exclusive! i wasn't about to wake up early on a saturday morning waiting for it. although i did that with master replica's EE saber. that was pain on a dialup connection. hehe.

Can't totally agree with you here Frodo. Some of the LOTR people sculpts are pretty darn good. King Theoden bust is dead On. Gandalf busts and statues are excellent, ditto for Saruman and quite a few of the others.
